DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, February 15\, 2026 \nSons of Liberty Chapter hosts the Massing of Colors and Salute to the Armed Forces honoring George Washington’s birthday and the U.S. military. \nWatch color guard and honor guard units from local high schools\, ROTC units\, military branches\, and historical societies parade in front of the Hall of Liberty. The event features a Warbirds fly-by with missing man formation\, artillery and firearm salutes\, and military displays from all service branches. The Blue Eagles Honor Guard from Edwards AFB leads the parade and performs ceremonial honors. This patriotic tradition has taken place for over 30 years. \nEvent highlights: \n\nColor guard parade\nWarbirds fly-by with missing man formation\nArtillery and firearm salutes\nBlue Eagles Honor Guard from Edwards AFB\nMilitary displays from all service branches\nROTC and youth military units\n\nThe outdoor event is free and lasts approximately one hour.
