The El Dorado Nature Center outdoor concerts will open for picnicking at 6:30 p.m. with live music from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring low chairs or blankets and a picnic dinner.
JULY 2 - SEPTEMBER 5: Shop unique artwork and enjoy live music, roaming entertainment, daily art demonstrations and a variety of food and drink offerings.
JULY 16 - SEPTEMBER 6: The DiscOasis is a theatrical walk-through journey of music, art, dancing, live performances, roller skating, and good times. The main attraction will be roller skating in the middle of the Garden's 87 acres.
JUNE 13 - SEPTEMBER 6: This summer, bubbles are taking over Kidspace. Bubble Planet is an all-new, all-outdoor experience with bubble-themed activities and soapy, spacey versions of your favorite Kidspace exhibits. The 3.5-acre campus will be filled with bubbles just for you and your family to pop, bounce, and splash.
NOW - SEPTEMBER 12: Enjoy free family-friendly community art events. No registration is needed, and all ages are welcome. Drop-in activities are available while supplies last. Visit the Great Park Gallery to see artwork from Chuck Jones and sign up for recreational classes.
JULY 9 - AUGUST 8: In this all-new immersive experience based on the iconic board game. Guests become detectives to solve the mystery of who murdered the elusive Mr. Boddy. Interrogate the infamous suspects and use investigative skills to solve the mystery. Recommended for ages 8+.
JULY 16 - AUGUST 15: It’s Time for Fun!! The OC Fair will be held Wednesdays - Sundays with advance purchase of tickets only!
THURSDAYS - SUNDAYS, JULY 8 - AUGUST 29: Cardboard City is a 10,000 square foot pop-up art center with free exhibitions of cardboard sculptures and architectural models, free family crafting activities, a schedule of classes, and a shop selling tools and materials so families can make cardboard art at home. Free and open to all visitors!
FRIDAYS, JUNE 18 - SEPTEMBER 10: OC Parks Sunset Cinema film series brings family-friendly movies to the big screen at your favorite regional parks. Grab a drink and a snack and get cozy for a screening under the stars.
AUGUST 7-8 and 14-15: The beloved tale of the boy who refuses to grow up gets retold in an inventive performance that’s sure to make every imagination soar! Expect plenty of magic and pixie dust as Peter, Wendy, and the Lost Boys learn that no one can stay a child forever and that nothing compares to the love of a family.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 7: Enjoy booths, art projects, live performances, face painting, and free admission to Muzeo. Be sure to stop by the Anaheim Fire Department booth to decorate a free bicycle helmet to take home!
AUGUST 7: The Lucky Band is bringing their upbeat, family-friendly music to the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza! s The New York Times stated, this husband-and-wife duo are “purveyors of indie pop-rock for families” and are sure to bring their clever lyrics and catchy beats to the Center’s audience.
AUGUST 8 & AUGUST 18-29: Olympics Closing Ceremony, Kidstock Music & Arts Festival, the Pretend City’s 12th Birthday Bonanza and more. Check out the fun here.
WEDNESDAYS & THURSDAYS, THROUGH AUGUST: This interactive workshop teaches children (ages 4-10) how baby chickens grow inside the egg as well as how plants grow! Children will plant their own giant sunflowers to bring home, harvest a vegetable, and visit with barnyard friends.
THURSDAYS, JUNE 24 - AUGUST 26: OC Parks Summer Concert Series returns with 10 free concerts across OC Parks each Thursday from June 24-August 26. Enjoy live music, delicious bites, and fun for all ages under the summer sky.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 14: Enjoy a fun and relaxing swim-in movie screening of Trolls World Tour at Splash!
AUGUST 18-29: Get ready to rock, roll, sway, sing, and bop! Enjoy live musical performances throughout the week and explore different musical stylings, instruments, and sounds.
AUGUST 27 - SEPTEMBER 12: Run away with the circus for two unforgettable hours of nonstop action, thrills, excitement and adventure... only at Circus Vargas, where memories are made and cherished for a lifetime!
FRIDAY-MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 3-6: Past events have included active duty ship tours, military displays and equipment demonstrations, live entertainment, aircraft flyovers, STEM Expo for kids of all ages, the annual Conquer the Bridge Walk/Run, sports tournaments, and the Galley Wars culinary cook-off competition between Sailor, Marine & Coastguard teams.
SEPTEMBER 9-12: Three-day event includes cannon battles, Mermaid Breakfast, ship tours, live music, food trucks, educational demonstrations Mermaid Stories and Swim Shows, vendor booths and lots more.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18-19: This celebration will feature traditional cultural crafts, storytelling, demonstrations, music, and dance celebrating the indigenous California maritime cultures.
