OCTOBER 1-31: The Halloween spirit will be in full swing for 31 frightfully fun days with open-air live shows, animal pumpkin feedings, themed photo ops, education stations, and much more.
OCTOBER 1-31: All month long, kids 12 and under receive FREE admission with a paid adult to more than 50 of San Diego County’s favorite museums, historic sites, aquariums, gardens and more. Many are even free for the whole family.
OCTOBER 1-31: Come march, dance, and strut the orange catwalk in the fanciful Halloween parade. Enjoy pumpkin decorating , mask making, and up-close visits with some not-too-scary animal friends. Costumes encouraged.
OCTOBER 3 - NOVEMBER 6: See the most extensive, privately-owned collection of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror film artifacts from your favorite films including Dracula, Frankenstein, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and more.
SEPTEMBER 24 - NOVEMBER 6: In this hour-long, family friendly revue, over 100 spirited puppets rally to regale you with silly things on strings.
NOW THRU NOVEMBER: Mr. Rex (Supersaurus) and Dinny (Pumpkinsaurus) are decked out in their fall costumes until the first week of November.
OCTOBER 6-31: The world-famous hayride features new terrifying attractions including the Town Square of Midnight Falls, Midnight Mortuary, Laughterhouse, plus the ghoulish Monte Revolta and his Band of the Living Dead performing nightly.
OCTOBER 18 - NOVEMBER 12: Learn about the interesting history, folklore, and art of monumental brasses. Choose from more than 100 reproduction-engraved plates of brass to do a rubbing. A trained instructor will provide rag paper, metallic waxes, and instructions for you to create your rubbing masterpiece
OCTOBER 25 - NOVEMBER 2: The nightly celebration begins in the plaza with Novenario Procession, featuring blessings, "living muertos", and free sweet bread. Visit community altars, enjoy live entertainment, face painting, and La Danza de la Muerte, a vibrant theatrical performance that tells the story of Día de los Muertos.
OCTOBER 19-30: Explore a neighborhood of Victorian manors and haunted houses where the neighbors are dying to celebrate Halloween. Cemetery Lane features 13 themed trick-r-treat stops and other surprises for kids of all ages.
OCTOBER 22-23 & 30-31: Go on a Bearcat BOO! Flashlight tour to get to know nocturnal animals. Plus, enjoy candy stations and apple cider.
OCTOBER 6-31: Dress the kids in their favorite costumes, join Pumpkinology 101 activities, and dance to Halloween-themed music at the fun Pumpkin Palooza Dance Party.
SEPTEMBER 16 - OCTOBER 31: Howl-O-Scream has arrived to transform the peaceful SeaWorld San Diego park into something sinister featuring haunted houses, scare zones, roaming haunts, live entertainment, thrilling rides, and more. Recommended for ages 13 and up.
SEPTEMBER 8 - OCTOBER 31: Summon your scream squad to Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights with 8 haunted houses, the Terror Tram, scare zones, a live show and exhilarating attractions.
OCTOBER 31: Enjoy a haunted maze, costume contests, carnival-like games, crafts, and a trick-or-treat area located at the historic Neff Estate.
OCTOBER 31: Calling all goblins, ghosts, and ghouls to join the Halloween Spooktacular! The event will feature trick-or-treating throughout the shopping center at participating tenants and restaurants, live DJ, face painting, balloon twisting, photo opportunities, and more.
SEPTEMBER 22 - OCTOBER 31: The fully transformed theme park features uniquely haunted mazes and attractions, sinister shows, and more than 1,000 horrifying creatures lurking in the fog and hiding in every corner of the park.
SEPTEMBER 29 - OCTOBER 31: Little ghouls can trick-or-treat around the town of Calico’s shops and buildings to collect sweet treats from the friendly townsfolk plus enjoy even more kids' Halloween activities.
SEPTEMBER 18 - NOVEMBER 27: Walk among spiders and their magnificent webs in this unique, open-air experience. Talk to educators and see enclosed habitats of tarantulas, wolf spiders, and jumping spider.
SEPTEMBER 10 - OCTOBER 31: SeaWorld Spooktacular features a trick-or-treat candy trail, Halloween dance party, meet a mermaid, hay maze, pumpkin hunt, and Día de los Muertos celebration.
SEPTEMBER 24 - JANUARY 16: Children help Thomas and his friends solve a variety of challenges, from a simple sorting and shape identification activity to more complex engineering obstacles.
SEPTEMBER 10 - OCTOBER 31: Get ready for family-friendly thrills by day and the scariest of frights by night! Explore haunted houses, scare zones, rides in the dark, live entertainment, and spooky sweets and eats.
OCTOBER 7-31: Dark Harvest and Pirate's Cave Haunt have teamed up to produce Shady Pines Asylum. This frightful, horror-themed maze experience features gory situations, foul odors, strobe lighting, lasers, fog, and you may get wet.
OCTOBER 31: Visit Bella Terra for a morning of Halloween fun including a costume parade, music and entertainment, games, live creepy crawlies, craft, and raffle. Must register online.
OCTOBER 31: Enjoy a fun afternoon filled with costume contests, games, food trucks a pumpkin patch, and, of course, trick or treating opportunities.
OCTOBER 31: Special carnival activities will be at Biscailuz, Bloomfield, Bolivar, Boyar, Del Valle, Mayfair, Palms and San Martin parks in Lakewood. Inflatable attractions will be at Mayfair for an additional fee.

OCTOBER 7 - FEBRUARY 3: It's a farmer's market meets street fair. Enjoy family games, over 75 vendors, axe throwing, food trucks, live music, sweet treats, and more. Free.
NOVEMBER 4: Wildlife Wendy and her tropical birds provide an up-close and personal encounter with the most entertaining species of the bird world. Families and friends will be instantly intrigued by the majestic macaws as they present incredible physical abilities as well as their vivacious personalities. Be ready to laugh out loud at the antics of the talking and singing parrots.
NOVEMBER 5-6 and 11-13: Take a ride with Thomas, meet Percy and Sir Topham Hatt, and enjoy a day of family fun.
NOVEMBER 5-18: Follow the swashbuckling adventure of a young peasant woman, Anahit, and her remarkable journey as she transforms into a royal warrior, inspires her people, raises an army of women, and rescues the King and entire kingdom from evil forces.
NOVEMBER 5 - JANUARY 24: This new exhibition from artist Sean Kenney features more than 40 sculptures made from LEGO® pieces. The sculptures, sprinkled throughout the garden’s 87 acres, explore the beauty of nature through contemporary, stylized and colorful displays that stand in striking contrast with their surroundings.
NOVEMBER 5: More than 15 Ventura County farms, ranches and agricultural organizations will invite the public to experience a day of free agricultural activities and tours.
NOVEMBER 5: The performance pays tribute to traditional music and dances from different regions, along with music from Coco, plus an homage to artists Juan Gabriel, Selena, Pedro Infante, and more.
SATURDAY & SUNDAYS, NOW - DECEMBER 31, 2022: Have a blast making art from upcycled materials. Your table is stocked with curated recycled materials and "rediscovered" offcuts and scraps from local manufacturers, along with freshly sanitized crafting tools and kid-friendly fasteners.
