JANUARY 14 - FEBRUARY 1, 2022: Shop for exotic flowers and trees to use as gifts and decoration for Lunar New Year. The Flower Festival will be open 10am - 10pm daily through January 30. The Asian Garden mall will host its Firecracker Festival at noon on February 1.
NOW - FEBRUARY 22, 2022: City of Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine's Mobile Recess Program conducts supervised physical fitness, and arts and crafts activities for ages 5-14 along designated streets blocked off for safety.
NOW - FEBRUARY 6, 2022: Meet over 80 specimens of life-sized, moving replicas of your favorite dinosaurs. Be immersed with a captivating VR experience and the latest video-mapping technology.
WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS & WEEKENDS: This interactive workshop teaches children how baby chickens grow inside the egg as well as how plants grow! Children will plant their own giant sunflowers to bring home, harvest a vegetable, and visit with our barnyard friends. This workshop is geared towards children ages 4-10. The entire experience lasts about an hour and a half.

WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS THROUGH MARCH: Make it a “Snow Day” at the Yeti’s Snow Play. Slide down the tubing lanes, take a scenic sky chair ride, or meet the Yeti and his friends. It’s all at Mountain High, Southern California’s closest winter resort, located just an hour and a half away in Wrightwood.
SATURDAY & SUNDAYS, NOW - DECEMBER 31, 2022: Have a blast making art from upcycled materials. Your table is stocked with curated recycled materials and "rediscovered" offcuts and scraps from local manufacturers, along with freshly sanitized crafting tools and kid-friendly fasteners.
WEEKENDS: Come on out to the farm for a U-Pick Wagon Ride that includes a wagon ride around the farm led by one of their tour guides. You will learn about Tanaka Farms and its history, farming methods, and the crops they grow. You will make a few stops in the fields to pick your own produce. After the wagon ride, visit the animals in the Barnyard Educational Exhibit!

Join Cabrillo Marine Aquarium Educators on a tour of the tidepools. Come along on a naturalist-led ramble on the rocks to see animals in their natural habitat.
