SEPTEMBER 26 - DECEMBER 5: This one-of-a-kind seasonal pavilion gives you a rare glimpse into the secret life of spiders. Stroll through the open air pavilion to see hundreds of orb weavers and their amazing webs all around you. Then enter the spider den to peer into enclosed habitats that house different species.
TUESDAYS THROUGH SEPTEMBER: Enjoy the best young children’s books from diverse authors read to you in the California Native Garden. They will read stories and sing songs for your family every Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. Free!
SELECT NIGHTS, SEPTEMBER 16 - OCTOBER 31: Terror comes to life as the theme park shifts into your worst nightmare, with horrifying monsters and hair-raising scares looming around every turn. Guests will have to confront their greatest fears with 15 haunted attractions, including five sinister scare zones, eight mesmerizing mazes, and two seasonal ride overlays to some of your favorite park attractions.
THURSDAYS - SUNDAYS, SEPTEMBER 9 - OCTOBER 31: This year’s event brings together terrifying mazes, sinister scare zones, outrageous live entertainment and some of the park’s most exhilarating attractions.
FRIDAYS - SUNDAYS, OCTOBER 1-31: Enjoy the inaugural Pumpkin Patch at Hana Field. Pick your own pumpkin, wander through the flower fields, or take a wagon ride. There's also a strawbale maze, strawbale mountain for climbing, and arts and crafts station.
SELECT DAYS, SEPTEMBER 18 - OCTOBER 31: In this hour-long, family friendly boo-sical revue, over one hundred spirited puppets rally to unearth ghastly things on strings.
Burn calories while enjoying the pristine ocean-view streets of this village-by-the-sea. Kids can participate in a 1K Dolphin Dash or a Two-Mile Youth Run. Plus, registered participants receive a complimentary feast hosted by restaurant row eateries.
SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS, SEPTEMBER 25 - OCTOBER 31: Enjoy the spooktacular Halloween season at Knott”s Spooky Farm, an event full of Halloween activities for kids ages 3-11. Trick-or-treat through Ghost Town, visit the Pumpkin Patch, watch fun shows, and learn about creepy crawlies.
SATURDAYS, OCTOBER 2-30: LEGOLAND is open after dark with rides, trick-or-treating, live entertainment, Halloween décor, and more. See live creatures and underwater pumpkin carving at SEA LIFE Aquarium and join the Costume Contest Parade.
JULY 11 - NOVEMBER 7: Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum presents "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in an outdoor amphitheatre within Topanga Canyon's lush and rustic natural surroundings.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2-3: Experience the battle re-enactment as well as many aspects of life during the 1800s; including, military encampments, vendors, music and dance. Children’s activities will include: corn husk doll making, tortilla making, cattle roping, adobe brick making and gold panning.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2: Learn about MMCCLA and the animals they care for, then participate in an art workshop led by an Angels Gate artist-teacher.
JULY 11, SEPTEMBER 5, OCTOBER 3, and NOVEMBER 7: Enjoy free admission to the Casa with creative activities and performances based thematically on Casa Romantica's programming.
AUGUST 13, SEPTEMBER 10 & OCTOBER 8: Experience the magic of the movies at The Huntington with three outdoor movie nights! Each family-friendly event includes live musical entertainment and a hands-on children’s activity.
Participate in fun activities including games, crafts, nature walks, roasting marshmallows and singing around the campfire at this overnight camp for ages 3 and up.
OCTOBER 22-24: Meet slimy sea creatures, learn about mysterious animals from the sea, and get up close with spooky science. Admission includes access to all aquarium exhibits as well as treat bags, and Halloween fun - a “kelp” maze, costume showcase, music and more!
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23: Calling all families! Join the City of Huntington Beach for a drive-thru fall festival at Murdy Park. They'll be handing out pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, decorating kits, candy, and more! Decorate your car for a chance to win a fun family prize!
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24: Observe Mexican Day of the Dead as we remember friends and family members who are no longer with us. Celebrate the joy and happiness they brought into our lives with music, dancing, art, and special foods.
OCTOBER 29 & 30: Visit the Mad Scientist Lab to make ghost bubbles and fizzing eyeballs, and the Candy Lab to perform experiment on treats. Learn sailor myths, legends, and superstitions, and meet and greet with a fintastic mermaid. Costumes are welcome and encouraged.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6: View ofrendas honoring the dead, live performances by Semillitas Preschool’s Aztec Dancers, Ballet Folklorico Alma de Oro de Carson and Mariachi Academy of Carson. Mexican cuisine and arts and crafts will be available for purchase.
SELECT SUNDAYS, NOVEMBER 7, 2021 - JUNE 12, 2022: The Wallis continues its beloved free monthly outdoor Sunday Funday family events with a variety of engaging programming that includes Story Pirates, Parker Bent, Spring Groove, Kiddle Karoo, and more!
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4: Gather on Main Street to celebrate the holidays! Enjoy kids crafts, local talent show and entertainment, artisan shopping, pictures with Santa, a holiday drinks lounge, live music and more! Free to attend, open to the public.
