JULY 2-4: Join the largest Independence Day celebration west of the Mississippi! Festivities include Neighborhood Parades, Pier Plaza Festival with live entertainment, vendors, and carnival rides, Surf City 5K Runs, and decorating contests. The events will be capped off with a fireworks show over the Huntington Beach Pier.
JULY 2-18: This annual festival event is filled with tons of interactive experiences like large bubble drum stations, bubble exhibits, science demonstrations, the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show, and more!
JULY 3-4: Celebrate good times—and Independence Day—with the ultimate hitmakers, Kool & the Gang! The disco-funk greats bring the party to the Bowl for the annual Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular. Get ready to get down on it!
JULY 3-4: Enjoy 4th of July activities including Knott's 100th Anniversary Celebration taking place all summer long. At 9pm, don't miss the lighting of the historic "K" tower followed by a dazzling Independence Day fireworks show.
SUNDAY, JULY 4: Enjoy a flyover by the Condor Squadron, consisting of four AT-6 aircraft World War II trainers at approximate 5:55pm. Fireworks display at the end of San Clemente Municipal Pier at 9pm.
SUNDAY, JULY 4: AmericaFest welcomes tens of thousands for a day full of tailgating, celebration, and entertainment including a motorcycle stunt show and a world-renowned fireworks display.
MARCH 11 - SEPTEMBER 6, 2021: Butterflies are taking flight at the museum! Walk among beautiful butterflies in our seasonal Butterfly Pavilion. This springtime exhibition features hundreds of butterflies, colorful native plants, and plenty of natural light to help you see these creatures shimmer.
Weekends, June 5 - September 26: Take a ride on the Museum Railway on a real operating trolley or behind a locomotive every weekend. Parking, entry to grounds, and entry to open exhibits are free (except during special ticketed events). Select trains and trolleys run every weekend for $8-12.
SUNDAY, JULY 4: The main event will be held at Recreation Park located on Eucalyptus Street, between Grand Avenue and Pine Street. For the evening event, gates at Softball and Stevenson will open at 6 p.m. followed by the Fireworks Spectacular at 9 p.
JULY 4: Los Angeles County public safety agencies jointly sponsor a fireworks hotline to educate the public on fireworks laws, safety and where to view local shows.
SUNDAY, JULY 4: Enjoy the spectacular musical journey of Sir Elton John. Plus, enjoy patriotic favorites, Pacific Symphony's traditional salute to the U.S. Armed Forces and a brilliant fireworks finale.

SUNDAY, JULY 4: Every year, hundreds of local kids decorate their two-wheelers and ride two miles out-and-back on the sunny beach boardwalk for this old-fashioned parade!
APRIL 1 - JULY 31: Visit South Coast Botanic Garden for this new exhibit featuring an immersive butterfly pavilion, an emergence chamber with caterpillars and pupae, and new garden plantings of tulips, pollinators, and other butterfly-attracting flowers.
SUNDAY, JULY 4: FIREWORKS SHOW: The cities of Los Alamitos and Seal Beach invites you and your family to attend the Drive-Up 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular held at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base. Reservations required.
JUNE 13 - SEPTEMBER 6: This summer, bubbles are taking over Kidspace. Bubble Planet is an all-new, all-outdoor experience with bubble-themed activities and soapy, spacey versions of your favorite Kidspace exhibits. The 3.5-acre campus will be filled with bubbles just for you and your family to pop, bounce, and splash.
MAY 14 - AUGUST 1: Stroll through the winding paths of organic lavender fields, participate in guided tours in an antique tractor-drawn wagon, learn how lavender essential oil is extracted, and taste lavender-inspired dishes like lavender lemonade and lavender ice cream.
FRIDAYS - SUNDAYS, JULY 2 - AUGUST 29: Boat Cinema is LA's first movie experience from your own personal mini boat. Reserve a mini electric boat, a party boat float, or roll up in your own boat after a day on the lake.
SUNDAY, JULY 4: Firecracker 5K/10K Run, Yankee Doodle Dog Show, Patriotic Parade, food vendors, live entertainment, and fireworks show.

FRIDAY - SUNDAY, JUNE - AUGUST: Enjoy a stroll in the gardens at twilight on selected evenings June through August. The public is invited with pre-purchased tickets to visit the gardens 4:30-8pm, Friday through Sunday. Tickets will be released every other Tuesday at noon.
Celebrate the 4th with family activities, food vendors, DJ entertainment, a Kids' Fun Zone and after-dark fireworks show.
SUNDAY, JULY 4: Celebrate the 4th of July with free events at Crown Valley Park. Enjoy live music, patriotic giveaways, screening of American Legends movie, and American Digital Presentation. Food and desserts will be available for purchase from food trucks.
SUNDAY, JULY 4: Each year the July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza delights over 60,000 people with a free concert and fireworks display. Food trucks and local restaurants on hand along with arts and crafts vendors and local businesses selling goods.
SUNDAY, JULY 4: The show will feature a 20-minute firework show, live performances, food vendors, and other festivities. Event begins at 6:30pm and fireworks at 9pm.
SUNDAY, JULY 4: The fireworks show will launch from Marty Russo Youth Athletic Park at 9pm. The park will be closed to the public and gathering at the park is strictly prohibited. Fireworks can be seen from various location surrounding the area.

WEDNESDAYS, JUNE 23 - JULY 21: Summer Play Dates are back at MainPlace Mall! Families are invited to participate in to make a craft together. All materials are included. Registration highly encouraged. Walk-ins will be seated as openings allow.
WEDNESDAYS & THURSDAYS, THROUGH AUGUST: This interactive workshop teaches children (ages 4-10) how baby chickens grow inside the egg as well as how plants grow! Children will plant their own giant sunflowers to bring home, harvest a vegetable, and visit with barnyard friends.

The El Dorado Nature Center outdoor concerts will open for picnicking at 6:30 p.m. with live music from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring low chairs or blankets and a picnic dinner.
