MARCH 16 - APRIL 15: Is your child up for the challenge to solve a Nature Center mystery? The City of Long Beach is offering an after school camp program called Nature Detectives, at El Dorado Nature Center for Kindergarten-5th Grade. As detectives, kids will use their observational skills, conduct research, and make new discoveries while exploring the trails.
MARCH 15 - APRIL 18: Recruit your peeps for the ultimate springtime tradition—a family-friendly "egg" hunt held at Downtown Disney. Pick up a game board and stickers for $7.99, hunt for hidden "eggs", then return your game board to redeem one of 6 collectible eggs.
MARCH 20 - APRIL 11: Celebrate Springtime on the Farm with more than 50 acres to visit and numerous activities. Enjoy distanced visits with the Easter Bunny, tractor-drawn wagon rides, trike trail, giant eggs and numerous photo opps, hay pyramids, spacious Egg Hunt, baby animal feeding and petting, trains, egg dying, and lots more!
THROUGH MAY 2: Participate in Knott's Egg-citing Easter Hunt during Knott's Taste of Boysenberry Festival. This park-wide challenge will send you on a quest to help the Easter Bunny. Can you find all of the missing Easter goodies around the park? Also, visit the Easter Bunny at the Charles M. Schulz Theatre and catch Snoopy Bunny in Camp Snoopy. Ask for the Easter Hunt card upon entry.

SUNDAY, APRIL 11: Robo-Tech Fest is a unique Long Beach Science-Tech-Engineering-Mathematics event held annually that invites school-aged youth, pre-K to high schoolers, and their families to experience exciting hands-on STEM workshops and activities.

APRIL 17-18: Southern California Railway Museum is excited to host the Dino Train STEAM Festival, a unique, outdoor, socially-distanced, interactive experience created in partnership with PBS. Buddy the Dinosaur has been invited to the Museum to meet with his fans and highlight his favorite topics of Paleontology, Science, Technology,Engineering, Art, and Math.
APRIL 17 & 18: Join like-minded peers who are passionate about the ocean. Conduct research with leading scientists in our lab and at sea aboard the R/V Sea Explorer. Gain an understanding of the education and career pathways in ocean science.
SATURDAY, APRIL 17L: Join the Newport Bay Conservancy for three family-friendly scavenger hunts. Pick up your Earth Day Adventure Pack and go on your choice of three different scavenger hunts (.35-mile, 3-mile, and 11-mile loop around the entire bay).
SATURDAY, APRIL 17: Create a pretty painting of a succulent. You will work together to observe the colors and qualities of a beautiful succulent from the Sherman garden and use simple step by step watercolor techniques to create your own botanical portrait.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY, APRIL 17-18:Join Sawdust Art Festival for their first Sawdust Spring Fling, a weekend pop-up art show with live music and food. Shop handcrafted art by 48 Laguna Beach artists and enjoy a spring day in the grove.
EVERY THIRD SUNDAY: Grab your leash and your fur babies and head to the Garden! During special dog walking hours, you’re invited to bring your four-legged friends to the 87 acres of the Garden.
MONDAY, APRIL 19: Join Bella Terra Kids Club on The Green for a fun, interactive story time, informative bug show, and take-home Earth Day craft.
TUESDAY, APRIL 20: Join PC Grommets Kids Club for an outdoor storytime and informative live animal show about local wildlife, learn what we can do to save the environment, and create a fun craft using recycled items. Registration required.
MARCH 26-27 & APRIL 23-24: The Rose Outdoors is a one-hour concert series presented outside and under the stars in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Enjoy highlights and iconic songs from hit musicals.
