OCTOBER 1-31: At the Drive-Thru Scream Zone, the only roadside assistance coming to your aid is a triple threat of zombies, serial killers, and killer clowns.
Calling all kids! October is Kids Free month at the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park, when children (ages 11 and under) receive free admission all month long (with an adult). One paying adult can bring up to 5 children free.
OCTOBER 1-31: Explore the gardens and enjoy a pumpkin house and children's hay maze, pumpkin arch and scarecrows, and pumpkin mandalas.
OCTOBER 1-31: Throughout the whole month, enjoy virtual activities including Halloween art, musical acts, contests, crafts and more. Then on October 24, experience the annual Halloween parade as a drive-thru event in Downtown Anaheim. More details to come.
OCTOBER 1-31: Children will receive a Discovery Booklet, learn and touch spooky creeps of the deep including slimy seaweed, small sharks, and creepy, crawly critters like Sea Spiders, and explore the Haunted Kelp Maze.
OCTOBER 1-31: While engaging in a safe, self-guided tour of their creepier collections, guests are invited to learn about trees that strangle other plants, the ingredients in common witches potions, flowers that are pollinated by bats, and other fun, eerie plants while winding their way through the garden.

OCTOBER 2-31: Join the fun at Tina's Pumpkin Patch. Enjoy pony rides, petting zoo, train rides, and a free straw maze.
October 3-31: Mr. Jack O' Lanterns Pumpkin Patch offers premium pumpkins, corn, games, activities, pumpkin decorating kits, pumpkin carving kits, and attractions.
October 9-31: A massive, all-ages, friendly drive-thru experience. Keep the fun traditions and excitement of Halloween alive in a safe, engaging, interactive, and immersive format.
OCTOBER 12-30: Stop by to see more than a dozen unique and exciting scarecrows handmade by local Mission Viejo businesses and organizations. The public will be able to vote for their favorite scarecrows.
OCTOBER 2 - DECEMBER 13: Escape Los Al hosted by the City of Los Alamitos provides an interactive puzzle experience for small groups. You'll have 60 minutes in a room to work together as a team and help solve the mystery.
OCTOBER 13-17: Students will have the opportunity to connect to representatives from a variety of colleges and universities, take virtual college tours, view scholarship information and more.
OCTOBER 16-17: Take photos in front of the boo-tiful Halloween themed Amphitheater. There will be five spook-tacular scenes available for photos.
FRIDAYS - SUNDAYS, OCTOBER 2 - NOVEMBER 1: SeaWorld Spooktacular will feature a pumpkin scavenger hunt, a candy trail that will lead to a safe and fun trick-or-treating experience, cookie decorating with some furry friends and a Sesame Street Dance Party.
Weekends October 10-31: Take a 2-1/2 hour scenic train ride to visit two locations options! First stop will be at Prancers Pumpkin Patch. Second stop will be at the Loose Caboose. Buy tickets on their website.
SEPTEMBER 25 - NOVEMBER 1: This all-new experience takes the best parts of a drive-thru experience and a drive-in experience, and twists them together while also adding a live performance element.
Weekends, October 10 - November 1: Visit Skypark at Santa's Village for Pumpkins in the Pines. Enjoy the pumpkin patch, puppet show, The Wacko Show, pumpkin painting, trick or treating, and the spooky Fantom Forest.
FRIDAYS - SUNDAYS, OCTOBER 9-25: The San Diego Zoo will light up with special activities and seasonal fun for the whole family during HalGLOWeen, the Zoo's annual Halloween celebration. Activities and entertainment include Bubble Dance Party, Python Path, Dr. Zoolitte's Mask-erade, Acro-Catz and Acro-Batz, and more!
October 1 - November 1: Expect to see some larger than life pumpkin installations as well as detailed artist depictions of your favorite movie stars, superheroes, and animated characters.
THROUGH OCTOBER 25: The Fair Food Drive-Thru will offer treats from food vendors bringing a taste of the OC Fair to go.
Fridays - Sundays, September 25 - November 1: Experience one-of-a-kind themed food and treats, a cornucopia of Harvest and Halloween décor, exclusive event merchandise, a fully-themed Camp Snoopy Trick-or-Treat Trail for Junior guests, and so much more.
Wednesday - Sundays, October 1 - November 1: Guests will be entertained by live performances throughout their drive, plus experience four interactive show zones with an immersive show of lights, sound, special effects and monsters that will come alive.
FRIDAY-SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2-31: Visit LEGOLAND for a Halloween-themed outdoor retail and dining experience. Enjoy festive LEGO décor, distanced character meet-n-greets, and individual family activities.
WEEKENDS, OCTOBER 2-31: Dead Last Drive-In is a brief (10-20 minutes) immersive, drive-in themed haunt.
THURSDAYS - SUNDAYS, OCTOBER 1-31: Come face-to-face with the creepiest sights and scariest creatures. This petrifying adventure is certain to give you chills and thrills.
OCTOBER 3-4, 9-11, 16-18, 23-25, and 30: Visit El Dorado Frontier for their outdoor Pumpkin Market in the park! Family package include a family photo, two pumpkins, and panning for treasure.
THURSDAY - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16-31: Guests will follow actors through various locations as they try to escape the flesh-eating zombies that lurk everywhere. You will get stage blood on you so don't wear anything you don't want stained. It's a 1/3 mile excursion with some quick paced movement and narrow passages.
OCTOBER 3-4, 8-31: Activities this year include train rides, petting zoo, free mini straw maze, sand art, and some carnival games.
FRIDAYS - SUNDAYS, OCTOBER 2-31: Go for a game of mini Ghost Golf, spot the Lady in White lurking, play arcade and carnEVIL games, and enter the open-air haunted Trail of Terror.
OCTOBER 16-NOVEMBER 1: Visit the zoo for a drive-in movie series, featuring cool themes, tasty treats, and a special preshow video presentation with the zoo's biggest animal stars, trivia challenges, and more.

OCTOBER 17: Monsters have gotten loose and are playing in Fountain Valley parks! Bring your families and participate by following riddles that will lead you to five neighborhood parks.

OCTOBER 18 - NOVEMBER 1: This year, the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) celebrates their traditional Day of the Dead exhibition and festival online! Participate in bilingual workshops, demonstrations, and conversations with artists and special guests. Enjoy a live streaming of altar creation, learn to make your own milagro, calavera puppets, paint sugar skulls, make hot chocolate and pan de muerto, and lots more!
OCTOBER 19-31: Newport Beach Public Library is brewing up a lot of at-home Halloween fun with Grab-and-Go crafts and activities, virtual costume parade, and a chance to win a raffle prize.
