Monthly: Sunday Circle is an event for the children, volunteers and staff of The Friendship Circle to come together for a variety of entertainment, recreation and enrichment activities such as music, art, sports, and dance sessions.
June 13: Meet local law enforcement and fire officials, plus explore sheriff and fire department vehicles and displays at this free event. Enjoy entertainment and music, too.
Parker Bent delights audiences of children and families with his original music, sly wit, and warm humor. You may even find yourself on-stage singing with him! His music speaks with characteristic skill to both children and the adults in their lives.
Thursdays, June 18 - August 6: Bring the entire family to enjoy the sounds of summer. Dinner and refreshments will be sold, so bring your picnic blanket and have dinner while listening to fantastic live entertainment.
Third Sundays: Family ArtMaking Workshops provide free family-oriented art-making activities on the Museum’s lawn with a view of the ocean. Parents and children participate together to create an art project. Workshops are free and no sign-ups are required.

November 7-8: The largest spring event of its kind in Southern California, the Pow Wow at Cal State Long Beach is focused on displaying the university’s strong American Indian presence. This two-day event features American Indian dancing, arts, crafts and food.
