Spring Break STEAM Fun at Pretend City
Spring break workshops are designed to offer engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
These live instructor-led sessions spark kids’ creativity while also teaching problem-solving and critical thinking skills through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities. Kids will have so much fun creating, they don’t even realize that they are learning.
Monday, 3/29: Space Day
Will your astronaut survive the landing? Conquer the physics of velocity and effects of gravity as you build your own Space Lander.
Tuesday, 3/30: Medieval Times
Can your castle withstand a catapult attack? You’re the architect as you construct your own kingdom.
Wednesday, 3/31: Carnival Fun
Conquer the physics of motion as you create your own mini carnival ride.
Thursday, 4/1: Robot Round-up
What problem will you solve? You’re the inventor as you build a robot prototype.
Friday, 4/2: a-MAZE-ing Magnets
Are you up to the challenge? Build your very own maze.
