Monterey Park Lunar New Year Festival
Join artisans, food vendors, live performers, merchants and thousands of friends to welcome the arrival of spring at Monterey Park’s annual street festival.
Celebrate the Year of the Rat with the City of Monterey Park, the Business Improvement District Advisory Committee of Monterey Park and World Journal Los Angeles as they co-host the 2020 Lunar New Year Festival celebration.
The Monterey Park Lunar New Year Festival has something for everyone. More than 250 booths will be occupied by merchants, organizations and food vendors in addition to live entertainment.
The festival will be spread out along five street blocks on Garvey Avenue from Garfield to Alhambra Avenues, making it one of the largest free street events in Southern California. While celebrating the Lunar New Year, the festival will also honor and showcase various cultural elements of Southern California.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Sunday.
