Hinamatsuri aka Momo no Sekku (桃の節句)

Momo no Sekku is a traditional Japanese event, also known as the Peach Flower Festival as well as the Doll Festival. It celebrates the healthy growth of girls. It started as a seasonal festival in Heian period in Kyoto and its origin comes from girls’ doll play.
Mardi Gras Celebration

“Laissez les bons temps rouler!” is French for “Let the good times roll!” It’s one of the most popular sayings during Mardi Gras! Join Pretend City and let the good times roll! Sing, dance, and bake your way through the museum and end the day with a festive parade down our city streets!

School Readiness Fair

Fun-filled event designed to provide parents with all of the information they will need to assure that both they and their children are ready to successfully begin their Kindergarten experience. Free health screenings, activities, and entertainment, as well as valuable resources for parents and children! Speak with early childhood professionals, School Districts, and other organizations in the Orange County community. Free to attend. Museum ticket not needed.
