Informational Parent Meeting – Downey Unified Virtual Academy

Learn in the Right Environment
Everyone’s academic needs are different. While many students missed in-person schooling during the pandemic, some students thrived learning from the comforts of home. Downey Unified Virtual Academy offers a way for those students to continue learning in a way that better suits them.
Virtual Academy is available for students in elementary through high school. Virtual students reap all the same benefits as in-person Downey Unified students. The program is tuition-free and follows a standard school schedule, including five hours of daily teacher-led instruction.
Downey Unified Virtual Academy is open to children who live outside the Downey Unified boundaries. We welcome motivated students interested in sharing our vision.
