SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2021

Join OC Parks for a fun-filled day of fishing at Mile Square Regional Park. The North Lake will be stocked with more than 1,000 pounds of trout and catfish for kids (ages 6-15) to try and catch. Prizes and trophies will be awarded for different age groups and the participant with the overall winning catch of the day will get their name inscribed on the legendary Mile Square Park Fishing Derby Trophy. There will be fishing clinics held on-site and a limited quantity of fishing rods will be available for loan.

Registration is required at the OC Parks check-in table on the day of the event. Register for the free event from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and enjoy the derby from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Space is limited and early arrival is suggested. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Rain will not cancel the event.
