Día de los Muertos on Olvera Street

Olvera Street is home to a colorful celebration that takes place over nine days. Merging ancient traditions with modern-day interpretations, you are invited to join in honoring deceased loved ones.
The nightly celebration begins in the plaza with Novenario Procession, a colorful parade honoring loved ones. Visit community altars, enjoy live entertainment, face painting, and La Danza de la Muerte, a vibrant theatrical performance that tells the story of Día de los Muertos.
