All aboard! Thomas the Tank Engine is coming to Southern California Railway Museum in Perris, California! Thomas is inviting train engineers, big and small, old, and young, to join him and his best friend Percy at a Day Out with Thomas: The Color Tour. Train enthusiasts of all ages can spend the day with their friend Thomas when the #1 Engine and Percy pull into the Southern California Railway Museum station. The STEAM Team will be there for five, family fun-filled days, November 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th, and 12th. Little engineers and their families are invited to take a 20-minute ride on their favorite engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway, ride Percy – Thomas’ best friend – and enjoy a day of Thomas & Friends fun including a petting zoo, bounce houses, photo opportunities, Trolley rides, model trains, live entertainment, color themed activity corner, story time, and much, much more.

Day Out with Thomas is a fun-filled family event that provides children of all ages the opportunity to climb aboard and ride with Thomas the Tank Engine and his best friend, Percy. In addition, they will meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities. Ride, play and stay all day! There is something for everyone.

Thomas the Tank Engine departs on the hour beginning at 9:00 a.m., rain, or shine and runs through 4:00 p.m. each day of the event. Percy departures begin at 9:10 and run every half hour until 4:10 p.m. Tickets are required for ages two and up (service charges and fees may apply). Military discounts are available.

And have you met Thomas’ newest STEAM Team Member Bruno? Bruno is a new brake-car that was introduced in the Thomas the Tank Engine TV series and on YouTube in Fall 2022. Bruno is smart, relaxed, and joyful. He loves making puns and will often use comedy to get through difficult situations. As a brake car, Bruno travels facing backwards at the rear of the train and thus has a unique perspective on the world.

Bruno has autism and needs sensory-friendly experiences. So, this year Southern California Railway Museum has added a Sensory-Friendly Thomas Train experience at 9AM on Friday, November 10th ONLY. This train will have limited capacity and no music.
