February 15-16: This Civil War reenactment weekend truly spotlights the reality of camp life and transports visitors back to the 19th century.

Calico Ghost Town will come alive with Civil War battles, the sounds of bugles, and the thunder of cannon and musket fire! Visitors are invited to come and witness historic presentations, troop inspections, artillery demonstrations, military battles, children’s crafts and much more.

Battles will occur at 11:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Before the battle begins, watch as President Lincoln inspects his troops. After the battle is over, find President Lincoln reading The Gettysburg Address.

Event is free for children 3 and under.
