Biocitizen Family Nature Walks with Birds in Los Angeles
February 8 and 22: Join Biocitizen on a series of local bird walks with guide and birding entrepreneur Benny Jacobs-Schwartz to learn about local Los Angeles ecology as you count and admire as many of their favorite native bird species as you can. These walks are geared for the whole family and are a mix of fun and educational.
Light hiking & learn how to:
>Use binoculars
>Spot and identify some of our local birds
>Dive into ecological topics topics like bird language, migration, native plants and birds
Walks include:

$15 per person for 2/8 Meeting Location: Bette Davis Park, 1515 Rancho Ave. Glendale, CA 91201 – Physical Difficulty: EASY – walking on flat terrain with small hilly sections
$20 per person for 2/22 Meeting Location: Shane’s Inspiration Park, 4800 Crystal Springs Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027 – Physical Difficulty: MODERATE – approximately 2 miles round-trip to an amazing overlook of the San Fernando Valley
