All ages are invited to experience close-up views of the 5-day crescent moon and enjoy the craters, mountains and “seas” on the surface, which are beautiful and inspiring.

Also in view will be sparkling star clusters, double stars and the first glimpse of Jupiter in 2020.

Many wonders await your discovery at the eyepiece of powerful telescopes provided by the volunteer astronomers. Seal Beach Astronomy Nights are co-hosted by Bogart’s Coffee House, across the street from the viewing party, where you can purchase hot drinks and goodies to keep you warm while waiting for your turn at the eyepiece.
