Annual Kid’s Fishing Derby in Seal Beach
August 14: The Rotary Club of Los Alamitos/Seal Beach, along with the Lions Club of Seal Beach and the Department of Fish and WIldlife, present the annual kid’s fishing derby on the pier.
Children (up to 15) can catch, weigh, and release the fish of the Pacific.
Bring your own rod or borrow one provided on site. Trophies and prizes to be awarded for largest fish caught. Bait provided.
Free refreshments and a pancake breakfast will be provided for all Derby registrants.
Tournament, 6 a.m. – 1 p.m. Free. Seal Beach Pier.
