Applied Music Studio

Enhance your child’s (3+) education by trying a free lesson at Applied Music Studio! They offer instruction in viola, violin, voice, piano, guitar, drums, woodwinds and theory, as well as a Keyboard for Kids program, all taught by degreed professionals; also, lessons for jazz, orchestra and choir preparation.

CrystalVoice Studio Voice Lessons

Crystal has over 25 years of experience as a voice instructor working with ages 8-80. She specializes in MDH Breathing Coordination, a functional vocal technique that applies to all styles, bridging the gap between art and science to help students achieve real, measurable results in their singing.

Jazz Angels

Level specific jazz bands comprised of young musicians ages 9-17. Musicians learn to play (or improve how they play) this great American music through a unique method of music mentoring. Three ten-week sessions throughout the school year, plus a summer program.

Kelly Summer Vocal Studio

Music Together at the Beach

Celebrating 20 years of family music-making in Long Beach and Huntington Beach! Weekly 45-minute classes incorporate a fun-filled, research-based, developmentally appropriate music curriculum. Activities include songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. Parent-child classes for children, newborn to age 5.

Community Youth Orchestra of SoCal

Take your child’s love of music to the next level and consider having them audition for the Community Youth Orchestra of SoCal. They offer four different ensembles that are appropriate for all ages and skill levels.

International Peace Choir

Peace Ambassadors are between the ages of 5-17 and proudly represent their diverse heritages and cultural backgrounds through music, song, and dance. Weekly rehearsals are held in Long Beach; auditions by appointment on Monday evenings.

Long Beach Youth Chorus

The Long Beach Youth Chorus is open to singers from various backgrounds and welcomes all skill levels, beginner to advanced, in grades 6-12.

Southern California Children’s Chorus

SCCCs’ mission statement is “enhancing children’s lives through distinguished choral music education and world-class performance.” Six different choral levels ages 5-20. Rehearsals are held in Irvine.

Voices of Hope Children’s Choir

Voices of Hope is a non-profit program made up of 100 talented children, ages 5-18, of all backgrounds and levels of experience. In an effort to make music available to all children despite social or economic barriers, this program is entirely tuition free. Singing inspirational music, the goal of the choir is to uplift the spirits of all who listen, to share a message of hope and peace and to learn positive self esteem and teamwork along the way.
