Bring the whole family for a day of festive fun at the new Aliso Viejo Ranch. Enjoy activities and entertainment for all ages, including carnival games, rock wall, giant slide, face painting, and more. Community parade begins at 9am. Parade participants are encouraged to dress in festive attire, decorate scooters, wagons, and strollers. All dogs must be leashed.

The day’s festivities include special working tours of the Printing Museum collections, including the opportunity to print your own Declaration on Franklin’s Colonial press. Enjoy activities for the whole family, see a display of vintage cars, and take home patriotic souvenirs printed on authentic tabletop presses. Lakewood’s Fireworks Extravaganza
JULY 2 | 8:45-9PM
Look to the skies for an aerial fireworks show that will take place at three locations across Lakewood. Locations include Holmes Elementary, Lakewood High, and Artesia High. Lakewood residents are encouraged to view the fireworks from their homes. The city is sponsoring this show in place of the Civic Center Block Party, which had to be canceled again this year due to COVID health precautions.
Long Beach
Big Bang on the Bay Block Party & Fireworks
JULY 3 | THE BOATHOUSE ON THE BAY – ALAMITOS BAY | 5:30-9PM
Fireworks will light up the skies over the Peninsula and Naples, as well as the restaurants along the Alamitos Bay Marina. The show is put on by The Boathouse on the Bay. Tickets to the block party includes a barbecue dinner and a seat at a table to view the fireworks.
The Great American 4th of July Kids’ Bike Parade

Every year, hundreds of local kids decorate their two-wheelers and ride two miles out-and-back on the sunny beach boardwalk for this old-fashioned parade!

Enjoy fireworks at the iconic Long Beach Waterfront. Free viewing areas along the scenic waterfront include Shoreline Village, Lions Lighthouse for Sight, and Rainbow Harbor. Harbor Breeze Cruises is offering ticketed boat rides for spectators.
July 4th BBQ & Late Night Hours at Aquarium of the Pacific

The Aquarium is offering a limited-seating meal service on this day where you can bundle Aquarium Admission and a boxed BBQ meal. This includes seating on our Veranda area, where you can enjoy the evening fireworks show after your meal. You could also purchase the BBQ meal on its own (does not include seating). Take advantage of extended hours and enjoy the Aquarium until 10pm. Reservations are required.
