10 Kid-Friendly Events We’re Excited About in March
SELECT DATES, MARCH 5 – MAY 2: A new food and retail experience is blooming at Knott’s Berry Farm as it celebrates the little berry that put the park on the map, with Knott’s Taste of Boysenberry Festival. Guests can catch a taste of the popular springtime Boysenberry Festival, as it offers all-new boysenberry-inspired savory foods, sweet treats and refreshing drinks that can’t be found anywhere else.
While the theme park remains closed (we’re waiting for the official reopening date), the food and merchandise-focused outdoor event offers over 80 boysenberry-infused food and drink items. You’ll also find handmade and personalized gifts from over 20 artisan local crafters offering unique boysenberry items.

SELECT DATES, MARCH 5 – MAY 2: Enjoy LEGOLAND’s most popular outdoor playgrounds, including Hideaways in Castle Hill and DUPLO Playtown. Young builders can take part in special building activities, design their own LEGO minifigure cut out, or test their luck in the I-Spy Miniland U.S.A. Scavenger Hunt. Play Passes are $19.99-49.99 per person. Children 2 and under are free.
MARCH 13 – APRIL 3: Hop on over with family and friends to enjoy this fun and exciting spring time event. Activities include Easter egg hunts, train rides, paint party, egg basket toss, carnival games, and bunny round up.
Activity Tickets: $6 each
Book of 15 Tickets: $75 each
Easter Bunny Visit: $12 per visit
Park entrance fees also apply. Open 7 days a week (weather permitting). Closed on Easter Sunday.
WEEKENDS, MARCH 6-28: Get a close-up view of how sheep are shorn and how wool is processed. Guests can learn about natural dyes, how to wash wool, and visit the farm to feed the sheep. Tickets: $12 for adults (18-64), $8 for seniors (65+), $8 for students (6-17), children 5 and under are free.
SATURDAY, MARCH 13: Bring the “wee-ones” out for a morning in pursuit of the mischievous Irish faery – the Leprechaun. Learn about the Irish history of Rancho Mission Viejo, play games, make and take a St. Patrick’s day themed craft, and go on a search for a leprechaun. Admission is $5 for adults and children.
SELECT DATES, MARCH 18 – APRIL 5: Enjoy dining and shopping at Disneyland California Adventure. Discover specialty menu items, snacks, latest merchandise, unique photo ops, and surprise character sightings. Tickets are $75 for guests ages 3 and over. Ticket includes parking, $25 dining credit, and unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos.
MARCH 20 – APRIL 11: Celebrate Springtime on the Farm with more than 50 acres to visit and numerous activities. Enjoy distanced visits with the Easter Bunny, tractor-drawn wagon rides, trike trail, giant eggs and numerous photo opps, hay pyramids, spacious Egg Hunt, baby animal feeding and petting, trains, egg dying, and lots more!

SELECT DATES, MARCH 20 – APRIL 4: Buckle up and go on a journey through the magical Unicorntopia, where real, live unicorns await you in a world full of magic and wonder! Experience surprises around every corner and receive a small, unicorn-worthy gift. All from the safety of your own car!
Standard Access includes 1-hour driving experience and small gift. VIP Access includes 1-hour driving experience, small gift, VIP entry and front-row viewing at all major stops, peppermint sticks to entice the unicorns to come closer, and your choice of headwear (floral wreath, tiara, or crown).
Tickets are $115-340 depending on number of guests in the car and Standard or VIP Access.
MARCH 28: This all-new staging of popular musical, Alice in Wonderland, provides a fun and safe way for the entire family to enjoy live entertainment at the Rose Center Theater.
The Alice Experience invites small groups of audience members to accompany Alice on her musical adventures in Wonderland. Guests follow Alice through the theater and grounds to meet new characters at each turn. Audience members may choose to sit or stand as they enjoy each scene and score.
MARCH 28, APRIL 2 & 4: Join Once Upon an Island for an exciting Easter party in the park including games, crafts, music, and a character-hosted Easter Egg Hunt. Pet and feed a real bunny and take photos with the Easter Bunny inside their shop. Cost: $75 per family household.
