MOVIE NIGHTS RETURN TO SEGERSTROM CENTER FOR THE ARTS WITH SOCIALLY-DISTANT POD SEATING
Iconic feature films are coming back to the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa. Guests can enjoy the moviegoing experience with socially-distant pod seating.
With the recent changes in government mandated COVID-19 guidelines, the Center is again presenting its popular Movie Nights with four Hollywood blockbusters:
- March 5, 2021 – Hidden Figures – SOLD OUT
- March 6, 2021 – The LEGO Movie – SOLD OUT
- March 12, 2021 – Roman Holiday – SOLD OUT
- March 13, 2021 – Hello, Dolly! – SOLD OUT
All movies will be closed-captioned. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking the movie links above or by phone at (714) 556-2787 from 10 am to 2 pm.
Ticket prices:
Movie Night ticket prices are $20 for pods accommodating 1-3 people, $30 for pods accommodating up to 4 people, and $40 for pods accommodating up to 6 people. Guests are advised to determine the maximum number of people they anticipate attending to ensure your pod can accommodate your entire party. You’ll get a call prior to your event to verify the number attending in your pod. Set-up begins at 5:30 p.m., with the movie starting at 6:30.
What is pod seating?
The ticket price for this show is for one personal viewing area (or “pod”) on the plaza. Each pod is separated by 6 feet of space from neighboring pods and will hold between 1 – 6 people. Only you and those attending with you will be seated in your assigned pod. Pod locations are assigned on the day of the event prior to your arrival. Assignments are made based on when the order was placed and the pod capacity reserved. Earlier purchasers are given priority in seating.

The Center’s outdoor presentations on the Argyros Plaza comply with government recommendations for Orange County’s current tier status. Masks must be worn by all guests upon check-in and until they arrive at their assigned space. Contactless check-in will include wellness and touchless temperature checks. Hand sanitizer stations will be accessible throughout the Argyros Plaza. Chairs will not be provided for Movie Nights. Guests are invited to bring folding lawn or beach chairs, blankets and dinners and beverages. Barbecues and grills are not permitted.
