Sesame Parade of Lights Drive-Thru Experience

SeaWord San Diego

SELECT DATES, NOW THROUGH FEBRUARY 24: Journey through twinkling lights, dance to a lively Sesame Street soundtrack, and wave hi to your favorite furry friends. Venture under the illuminated SkyTower, drive under two different tunnels of lights, and cruise through Sesame Street Village.

 

 

Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru

OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa

WEDNESDAY – SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 5-14: See over 70 moving and roaring dinosaurs, including the 50-foot-long Megalodon! Enjoy your own personal audio tour guide and see realistic and interactive baby dinosaurs too! From February 10-28, the exhibit will be at Pomona Fairplex.

 

 


Valentine Picture Pony

Pony Time at Lakewood Equestrian Center

FEBRUARY 6-7 and 13-14:Take a picture with a pony for Valentine’s Day! Tickets for pictures are $6 and is available all day from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., no appointment needed.

 

 

The Rose Outdoors Concert Series

The Rose Outdoors is a one-hour concert series presented outside and under the stars in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Enjoy highlights and iconic songs from hit musicals like Hello Dolly, Sweeney Todd, Cinderella, and The Music Man.

 

 

Weekend Scenic Train Excursions

Fillmore & Western Railway in Fillmore

SATURDAYS, FEBRUARY 13 – MARCH 27: Enjoy a 4-hour, round-trip vintage train ride adventure!Ride on historic train cars used in several well known movies, TV shows and commercials. Includes two fun stops to explore along the route.

 

 

Parent & Me Painting Class

Sherman Library & Gardens in Corona Del Mar

FEBRUARY 13: Create your own nature journal and fill the first page with a flower! You will work together to observe the colors and qualities of a beautiful Camellia bloom from the garden and use simple watercolor techniques to create your own botanical portrait.

 

 

Shared Science Workshop

Rancho Los Cerritos in Long Beach

FEBRUARY 15: Shared Science will be onsite at Rancho Los Cerritos for a Long Beach history and STEM lesson. Guided by an RLC educator, students will explore how water moves – both naturally and by design – around Rancho Los Cerritos and learn why water was so important on a working ranch while they do a hands-on activity with herbs in the garden.

 

 

The Alice Experience: An Interactive Adventure

Rose Center Theater in Westminster

FEBRUARY 21, 28 and MARCH 28: The Alice Experience invites small groups of audience members to accompany Alice on her musical adventures in Wonderland. Guests follow Alice through the theater and grounds to meet new characters at each turn.

FEBRUARY 21: Grab your leash and your fur babies and head to the Garden! During special dog walking hours, you’re invited to bring your four-legged friends to the 87 acres of the Garden.

 

 

Explore the Marsh Field Trip

Bionerds in Irvine

FEBRUARY 21: Bionerds invites the public to join them on monthly field trips to different nature sites in Orange County. This month, take a field trip to the San Joaquin Marsh for students in K-8th grade. The trip includes a 1.5-hour guided tour of the marsh and Urban Forest. Plus, an organism scavenger hunt!
