How to Make a Post-Quarantine Idea Jar

Are the kids feelin’ a lil (ok, a lot) antsy? Thinking about what to do when the quarantine is over might help them a bit. We can’t wait to be able to visit our favorite museums, eat at our favorite places, and just go crazy with family adventures!

So round up the kids, scroll through Kidsguide’s latest issue to find cool things to do and places to go, and make this Post-Quarantine Idea Jar!

It’ll make for a great sit-down family activity as each person talks about all the things they really want to do. It gives us something to look forward to! Keep reading for lots of ideas.

How to Make It:

  • Jar/container
  • Jumbo wooden craft sticks (optional)
  • String
  • Marker
  • Things to decorate (stickers, washi tape, etc.)

  1. Use the marker to write an idea on each stick or cut out slips of paper from the template
  2. Decorate the end of the stick or color your slips
  3. Print out and color the tag or label
  4. Tie the tag or tape the label to the jar

Look through the new issue of Kidsguide and find things you would like to do, such as:
