The Los Alamitos-based competitive dance squad performs in local and charity events throughout Southern California. Its senior team, comprised of girls ages 14-18, compete on a local and national level, securing first-place wins, as well as best choreography and costume recognition over the last four years. Further bolstering their standing, several dancers from EPIC’s all-star team have been selected to perform in Paris and Rome. A junior team is in the works for the 2010 season.

Friday, June 4: Three-hour dance training clinic for girls and boys (5+). 4-7 p.m. Fee, $35. Dance West, 4322 Katella Ave., Los Alamitos.
Sunday, June 6: Tryouts for Epic Dance Force. 9 a.m. – noon. Dance West, 4322 Katella Ave., Los Alamitos.
