Nate the Great at South Coast Repertory

November 2-18: Nate the Great, the world’s greatest kid detective, loves solving mysteries – almost as much as eating pancakes. When Annie’s special painting of her dog, Fang, goes missing, Nate’s on a new case! Did Fang bury it? Is Rosamond, who prefers cats over dogs, up to foul play? Come along as Nate searches for clues and gathers the facts in this clever, new musical that teaches us to see the world in new ways. Recommended for kids (grades K – 6), SCR’s Theatre for Young Audiences and Their Families is just that, a multi-generational experience for all ages (no children under the age of four and babes-in-arms). The only requirement is that each audience member occupies a seat and sits quietly through the performance while having a wonderful time. Captivating stories, wonderful performances, colorful sets and costumes – nothing compares to the way live theatre sparks the imagination! SCR’s Theatre for Young Audiences series is kid-friendly theatre, at family-friendly prices; and as a special treat, kids can meet the actors after every show. ASL-interpreted performance: Saturday, November 17, 2 p.m. Check website for show times, ticket prices, and discounts, including their pay-your-age special.
