Weekends, October 13-28: Witches, ghouls and goblins come out to haunt at the Fillmore & Western Railway’s pumpkin patch. Families can go looking for their own “great pumpkin” on PumpkinLiner excursions. Activities include Jolly Jumps, hayrides, haunted house, vendor booths, carousel, pumpkin maze, food and more. Trains stay at the pumpkin patch for one to one and a half hours before returning to Fillmore. Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. departures. The train departs from Central Park in downtown Fillmore. Adults, $22; kids (4-12), $15; toddlers (2-3), $10. Pumpkins are priced separately starting at $1 and vary by size.
Zombie Hunter Paintball Train
Select Dates, September 29 – October 28: Take a train ride through the battle grounds of the Zombie Apocalypse! You will be armed with a paintball gun loaded with Zombie flesh-eating toxic paintballs. Help beat back the attacking zombie hordes and return the un-dead to the dead! Help save humanity! Zombies DO NOT shoot back. Everything is provided; extra paintballs will be available for purchase onboard. No one under 18 may ride without an adult. October 19 & 26: Creep onboard a hauntingly vintage train for a spooktacular adventure, with “The Patch” as the destination. Dress in costume or go as a mortal. Dine on BBQ and then catch a ride on a spooktacular hayride and haunted house with lurking creatures.
