Christmas Tree Train – Weekends, through December 10: Take a train ride to a private Christmas tree farm, where you can find the perfect pre-cut tree or cut-your-own; there are limited numbers of cut your own due to the drought. Crews net the tree and stack it on the flatcar for the ride back to Fillmore. Food and beverages are served on board, and you can shop at the Caboose Garden Center and Gift Emporium. Saturday and Sunday, departures at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Adults, $26; seniors (60+), $24; youth (4-12), $16; kids (2-3), $12.
North Pole Express Train – Selected dates through December 23: Celebrate Christmas with a one-hour ride aboard a vintage train. Wear your pajamas, dress warm, and remember to bring your camera to take pictures with Santa after the train ride. Vendors will be on-site so you can purchase unique holiday gifts. Train departs at 6 and 7:30 p.m.; additional 4:45 p.m. departures on December 16-23. Adults, $30; kids (2-12), $20; under 23 months on adult lap, free.
Santa Shopper Train – December 16-17: During the last weekend before Christmas, take a train ride to the Loose Caboose Garden Center and Gift Emporium for those great last-minute Christmas gifts. If you still need a perfect tree, it’s just a short walk to the Tree Farm where you can buy one and haul it back on the train. Saturday and Sunday, noon. Adults, $26; seniors (60+), $24; youth (4-12), $16; kids (2-3), $12.
Dinner with Santa – December 20-22: Gather the family for a holiday dinner hosted by Santa Claus. Have your wish list ready, and be sure to bring a camera for a photo with Ol’ Saint Nick. Dinner includes a choice of turkey or ham with all the fixings and a holiday dessert. Wednesday – Friday, departs at 5:30 p.m. and returns at 7:30 p.m. Adults, $55; kids (2-12), $30; under 2, free on adult lap.
