Is there something different about the newest Kidsguide?

Oh, it’s not you ? it’s us! After 15 years, we’ve slimmed down to a trimmer, tree-saving size. But the spirit of the “big” book lives on in the “small” issue. Within its 88 pages, you’ll find the same helpful, money-saving resources that busy families have come to expect from Kidsguide. As always, we help you find quality activities, organizations and ideas to help you plan your weekends, holidays and the days in between.

In this issue, we celebrate the bigness of life’s little pleasures and treasures. Writer Steve Lowery is back with his gentle and humorous insights on the small things that keep families together, such as the underrated art of small talk. He also points readers in the direction of fantastic activities that provide big fun for small change, like Irvine Lake’s fishing lagoon for kids and Putting Edge Fun Center’s Miniature Golf in the Dark and Arcade in Los Angeles.

You’ll also find jokes, riddles and other small-related trivia – things that we hope will elicit a little chuckle from you.
