It’s not just basketball – it’s about smarts, too.
Welcome to Ron Palmer Elite Basketball Camp, where campers learn how to improve their game and score academically. Geared towards middle school-aged students, the program (Aug. 3-7) provides kids an adult-supervised overnight camp experience at Cal State Long Beach. There, they’ll sharpen their basketball fundamentals, as well as their classroom skills. Subjects covered include math (algebra and geometry) and language arts (reading, spelling and grammar).
They’ll also learn how to care for their bodies, thanks to the healthy nutrition classes included in the camp program. All meals are provided. Campers receive official camp t-shirts, a souvenir camp photo and Certificate of Participation.
