March 23 – May 12: Our Hidden Jungle will be filled with thousands of colorful butterflies. Inside this rain forest greenhouse, you’ll see many varieties of butterflies above and around you.
Tuesday and Thursday: Each educational cart offers learning for students and visitors interested in seeing items up close.
March 16 – April 30: Adopt a caterpillar in the Busy Bee Learning Store to experience the magic of metamorphosis.

March 29-30: The Los Angeles County Science & Engineering Fair provides a yearly setting for middle and high school students to show off their investigative skills and creativity to compete for medals, special awards and scholarships.
January 26 – April 28: This new family exhibit will get you revved up with immersive activities for three generations of Hot Wheels fans. There’s something for mom, dad, grandparents and of course today’s youngest Hot Wheels fans as visitors learn about the science, technology, engineering, and math that goes into making cars go faster.
March 28: Join them for their annual Spring Family Arts Night, as they open their art studios for your budding artist to see their space and meet some of their on-staff artists.

Daily: A monthly calendar of story times, crafts, homework help and family-friendly events at libraries in the Los Angeles library system.
March 28: Back for its second year, the Queen Mary is hosting the Queensway 5K race through the Queen Mary Events Park and Long Beach Harbor. Participants have the option to run, walk or jog during the race.
March 27 – April 14: Step inside a world of pure imagination as the Pantages Theatre unveils Roald Dahl’s classic tale.
March 22-31: Based on the novel by Roald Dahl, Tony Award-winning Matilda The Musical will dazzle audiences of all ages at the Civic Arts Plaza this spring.
Through April 21: Pompeii: Over 150 authentic artifacts on loan from the renowned Naples National Archaeological Museum in Italy. These are not replicas, but rather original, 2,000-year-old objects that were preserved in the ash after the catastrophic eruption.
March 21 – April 1: A magnificent, mega-hit circus production guaranteed to thrill and enchant children of all ages for two unforgettable hours.
March 28: Join The Muck for their annual Spring Family Arts Night, as they open their art studios for budding artist to get to see our space and meet some of our on-staff artists. Kids of all ages can come and enjoy as they get their hands dirty trying ceramics, drawing, and painting along with a multitude of other artistic crafts.
March 25-30: Learn Spanish or French with LangoKids in a highly dynamic and engaging class for kids, ages 2-10.
