Friday: LACMA staff reads folk tales and age-appropriate books on art and culture.
Select Fridays: The public is invited to get up close with the ocean’s ultimate predators at the Aquarium of the Pacific for free during Shark Lagoon Nights. Guests will have the opportunity to touch bamboo sharks and see large sharks such as sandtigers as well as rays.
Third Fridays: Kids (5-11 and 12-14) enjoy a scavenger hunt, karaoke, dance, arts and crafts, games, sports, contests and more.
Fridays: Binge-watch anime during Teen Anime Club every first and third Friday, and see popular and not-so-popular films during Teen Flicks every second and fourth Friday (grades 7-12).
March 15-17: Explore the world of arcade games with freeplay on over 1,100 retro to modern arcade games and pinball machines!
Daily: A monthly calendar of family-friendly hikes, walks, tours and more at parks in the Orange County Parks system.
Fridays: Kids (7+) join Fashion Camp every Friday for a fun sewing workshop.
January 26 – April 28: This new family exhibit will get you revved up with immersive activities for three generations of Hot Wheels fans. There’s something for mom, dad, grandparents and of course today’s youngest Hot Wheels fans as visitors learn about the science, technology, engineering, and math that goes into making cars go faster.
March 15: Celebrate the arts and enjoy free art activities and projects, multiple art exhibits, entertainment, a fundraising dinner, and more.
Third Fridays: Check out more than 60 pop-up shops and mobile boutiques at this monthly pop-up event, plus gourmet food trucks, live music, guest DJs and a kids’ area with inflatable attractions and a rock-climbing wall.

March 2-17: The Old Man and the Old Moon. Who keeps the moon shining bright? The Old Man charged with that task embarks on an epic adventure of land, sea and sky in search of his missing wife in this swirling tale of love, accompanied by a live, indie-folk band.
Fridays: Kids (2+) make edible art using fruits and other foods donated by Trader Joe’s. Create a tasty masterpiece that looks and tastes good.
Through April 21: Pompeii: Over 150 authentic artifacts on loan from the renowned Naples National Archaeological Museum in Italy. These are not replicas, but rather original, 2,000-year-old objects that were preserved in the ash after the catastrophic eruption.
March 15-16: The Spring Craft boutique features unique, one-of-a-kind crafts, seasonal and year-round gifts and dcor, wearable art, jewelry, florals, baby items, tasty goodies, and much more from over 250 vendors.
March 15: Drop your child off at BubblePOP for 2-3 hours and enjoy one of the many convenient restaurants located in the exact same plaza! Children ages 1 to 5 years old welcome! For those who aren’t quite walking yet, they will have a sectioned off area for infant play. Your ticket will include admission into BubblePOP, cheese pizza and juice, AND childcare for 2-3 hours for your little one!
February 28 – March 25: The American Crown Circus 2019 Tour offers the most extraordinary talent from countries throughout the world. Featuring acrobats, magicians, jugglers, clowns and other exciting entertainers, it’s fun for the whole family!
March 15-16: Explore science, technology, engineering, art, agriculture, and mathematics with hands-on activities. Work with experts to builds robots, code games, and much more. Special guest Bill Nye the Science Guy.
March 15: This Someone Special-N-Me course is great for the Lil’ Chefs, ages 3-5 that still need an adult by their side. This is a hands-on cooking class that allows the adult to assist their little one.
