January 26 – April 28: This new family exhibit will get you revved up with immersive activities for three generations of Hot Wheels fans. There’s something for mom, dad, grandparents and of course today’s youngest Hot Wheels fans as visitors learn about the science, technology, engineering, and math that goes into making cars go faster.

February 18: Let your kids cook up some fun at Lil’ Chef School on their day off! Lil’ Chefs will learn knife skills, work together as a team to complete recipes and learn to properly measure wet and dry ingredients. On the menu is turkey melts with parmesan fries and cranberry buckle with a vanilla crumb topping.

Through April 21: Pompeii: Over 150 authentic artifacts on loan from the renowned Naples National Archaeological Museum in Italy. These are not replicas, but rather original, 2,000-year-old objects that were preserved in the ash after the catastrophic eruption.
February 18: Enjoy a guided tidepool walk to Little Treasure Cove when the tide will fall to a super low -1.9. A volunteer will help identify animals and describe some awesome adaptations.
February 18: Meet the Presidents of Mount Rushmore and get free cherry pie! Half-priced admission to the Nixon Library and Museum all day. First 1,000 visitors receive a free slice of cherry pie. Meet and take photos with Presidents Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt all day!
