February 16-17: t Long Beach Comic Expo, you’ll find exhibitors promoting and selling all types of related products, as well as entertaining and educational programs, guest signings, and meet & greet sessions with celebrities. For sci-fi fun, Columbia Memorial Space Center will be on-hand, bringing real space and science together with comics and pop culture; they’ll feature fun, hands-on activities and displays, and host fascinating panels.

Third Sundays: Family ArtMaking Workshops provide free, family-oriented art-making activities on the museum’s lawn with a view of the ocean. Parents and children participate together to create an art project. Workshops are inspired by the current exhibitions and include hands-on art-making projects.

Sundays: Tour the facility, including the loop trail and marine life.
Sundays: Make the drive to Gentle Barn for a presentation and tour. See how the barn was started and what a regular day is for them. Then head off for a tour and meet some animals that were saved.

Join Po and Tigress from Kung Fu Panda in Po’s Village and savor Asian dishes at Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop. January 26 – April 28: This new family exhibit will get you revved up with immersive activities for three generations of Hot Wheels fans. There’s something for mom, dad, grandparents and of course today’s youngest Hot Wheels fans as visitors learn about the science, technology, engineering, and math that goes into making cars go faster.
February 16 & 17: Enjoy the Aquarium of the Pacific with special extended hours. The entire aquarium will be open, except Lorikeet Forest. Watch the nighttime activities of the animals, touch a shark, and enjoy the beautiful evening lighting of the aquarium’s architecture.
