Pompeii: The Exhibition at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum

Through April 21: Pompeii: Over 150 authentic artifacts on loan from the renowned Naples National Archaeological Museum in Italy. These are not replicas, but rather original, 2,000-year-old objects that were preserved in the ash after the catastrophic eruption.

Audition for Beauty and the Beast in Costa Mesa

The Magic Flute – Opera for Kids in Costa Mesa

January 12: Pacific Symphony presents a special version of Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” in the Rene and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall with life-size puppets designed by Robin Walsh, and a cast consisting of Champan University singers and guests. A Musical Carnival will be held at each concert that encourages children to test drive instruments.

Family Hike in Round Canyon

January 12: Enjoy nature with friends and family in Round Canyon. Hike along a fairly flat trail as you watch for red-tailed hawks and mule deer. The hike averages 2 to 3 miles round trip at an easy pace with a medium level of interpretation. This program is for participants who would like a slower-paced and level hike.
