Winter Fantasy at the Sawdust Art Festival in Laguna Beach

Weekends, November 17 – December 16: Winter Fantasy features 175 artists and makers, three stages of live music and entertainment, thousands of lights and decorations, glassblowing and art demos and so much more!

Tidepool Walks at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium

November 10 & 23-25: Enjoy ocean-related walking activities and an informative slide show presentation at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.

Science of Gingerbread (at OC & LA)

Lighting of the Bay at Newport Dunes

November 23: Kick off the holiday season at Newport Dunes with a weekend of family fun, including live performances, Santa’s arrival and the lighting of the bay, movie screenings, a train ride and puppet shows.

Spider Pavilion at the Natural History Museum

September 16 – November 25: Have a one-of-a-kind experience in the only Spider Pavilion in the U.S. Get a glimpse of the private lives of spiders in the open-air pavilion that is designed as a safe space to get up close to these amazing arachnids.

SeaWorld’s Holiday Celebration

November 17- January 5: SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration includes Rudolph’s Christmastown, Santa’s Christmas Village, a 40-foot tall tree, holiday-themed animal shows and a new live nativity show.

Holidays at Legoland

November 17 – January 1: Experience the magic of the Holidays at LEGOLAND with music, twinkling lights, and nightly tree lighting of the park’s Christmas tree decked with spectacular lights and LEGO ornaments.

Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas in San Diego

November 3 – December 29: Visit The Old Globe for Dr. Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas! A wonderful, whimsical musical based upon the classic Dr. Seuss book.

Apple Season in Oak Glen

Through late November: Working apple orchards in Oak Glen, a mountain town halfway between Riverside and Palm Springs, open their doors to the public. Some offer U-pick apples.

Tanaka Farms Christmas Trees

November 23 – December 16: Pick out your own Christmas tree, including Noble Fir, Grand Fir and Douglas Fir. All are guaranteed to last until Christmas or Tanaka Farms will replace it free of charge.

Outdoor Ice Skating in Santa Monica
