Dream it Mondays at Pretend City

Mondays: Learn about different dream jobs in the community through story time, community partner visits, dramatic play experiences, puppet shows, and art activities.

Father’s Day Train Rides with Fillmore & Western Railway

June 18: Catch the train with dad and enjoy a scenic two-and-a-half hour ride through the Heritage Valley, complete with a delicious lunch of BBQ tri-tip, chicken, potato salad, chili beans, garlic bread and dessert.

Summer Reading Programs

June 1 – August 15: Many libraries offer homework help, including academic workshops and story times. Plus, join the Summer Reading Program, June 1 – August 15. Young readers (kids and teens) at most Los Angeles County and Orange County libraries will enjoy a “Build a Better World” theme.

Dolby Theatre Guided Tours

Daily: See an Oscar statuette, visit the Dolby Lounge and other celebrity hot-spots, and see images from previous Academy Awards ceremonies.

U-Pick Melon Tours at Tanaka Farms

June 1 – August 31: Take a guided wagon ride around the farm, stop at different areas and try different summer fruits and vegetables, and finally step into the melon patch to sample delicious home grown melon.

Daily: Movies at discounted prices.

Duplo Family Play Day in Costa Mesa

Mondays: Children and their families are welcome to visit one of the Duplo tables in the library’s lobby.

Kids Bowl Free All Summer Long

Daily: Kids Bowl Free returns for its 11th summer! Kids across North America can bowl for free all summer long at one of 1,300+ participating bowling centers.

Movies in the Park in Long Beach

June 18 – August 22: Bring a lawn chair, blanket, picnic style dinner and the whole family for screening of family-friendly movies all summer long at neighborhood parks across Long Beach.

June 18: Movies in the Park returns for another summer of free, outdoor family-friendly films.

Tour Angels Stadium in Anaheim
