Most Wednesdays – Thursdays: Time for the kiddos to unwind from a long day. Stop by for dress-up from the Castle Wardrobe, face painting, snacks and crafts.
Wednesdays: Tea time includes dress-up play from the Castle Wardrobe, mini muffins or cookies, fruit and refreshments, plus etiquette and storytelling.
November – March: Head to the hills! It’s prime tubing time at the Big Bear Snow Play. Then, take a chairlift ride to the top of the Alpine Slide.
Through March: Southern California’s largest and oldest snow tubing park, Snowdrift offers tubing fun on snow tubes that are specially designed with belly straps and handles.
Thanksgiving weekend – end of snow season: Ride to the top of Sugarpine Chair Lift #1 for a zip downhill at the Mt. Baldy Tubing Park.
December – Mid-March: For the closest snow tubing in Southern California head to the North Pole Tubing Park at Mountain High’s North Resort!
Through March: Enjoy a scenic chairlift ride followed by a thrilling downhill sled ride.
December 17 -January 7: The annual LA Kings Holiday Ice brings outdoor ice skating to Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE in Downtown LA.

December 19 – January 29: Features more than 7,000 square feet of real ice. Open seven days a week for puvblic skating, parites, and learn-to-skate classes.
December 5-28: Board a classic cable-car trolley for a waterfront tour that will showcase the best light displays around Long Beach. Each tour includes hot cocoa and a sugar cookie, a souvenir Santa hat and candy cane, holiday music and light narration.
Through January 7: Get in the spirit with all-new holiday experiences at Universal Studios Hollywood. Celebrate Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, where Hogsmeade is transformed with wondrous spirit.

December 14 – January 7: Steps away from hundreds of shops and restaurants decked out for the holiday season.
December 1-31: The Santa Ana Zoo will be transformed into a winter wonderland called “Winter Zoobilation” with snow, lights and special holiday decorations for all to enjoy.
December 21 – January 1: Tall Ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain stop in Long Beach. Events include tours, a Battle Sail and an 8-hour sail to Dana Point.

December 16-17 and December 22 – January 7: Snow is coming to Los Angeles this winter, so bundle up and investigate the science behind weather, snow play, and tubing at Winter Wonderfest.
Tuesday and Wednesday: Join Big Air for one of their Special Needs Day! Guests will have a blast exploring trampolines and other attractions.
December 14 – January 7: Follow your heart straight to adventure with Disney On Ice! The ice skating extravaganza features the beloved stories and characters from the smash hit animated movies Finding Dory and Inside Out for the first time in a live production.

Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays: Kids (5-17) interested in roller derby can join Long Beach Jr Roller Derby for practice.
Wednesday: Discover what lives below your toes at the beach and become a citizen scientist with naturalists at Heal the Bay’s Santa Monica Pier Aquarium.
November 19 – January 7: Two theatrical lighting houses have created 12 unique, large-scale lighting experiences that illuminate a mile-long walk through Descanso Gardens.
