Outdoor Ice Skating in Santa Monica

November 1 – January 15: Downtown Santa Monica brings a little ice to the beachside community with ICE.

Tuesday and Thursday: Each educational cart offers learning for students and visitors interested in seeing items up close.

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Signal Hill

November 30: The public is invited to attend the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony which will officially ring in the start of the holidays.

Festival of Lights at The Mission Inn Hotel in Riverside

November 25 – January 7: Your family will be swept away by more than 3.6 million+ brilliant lights transforming Riverside’s historic hotel into magic.

Rides on the Great Park Balloon and Carousel in Irvine

Thursday – Sunday: The Great Park’s tethered, 118-foot-high, helium-filled balloon allows passengers to soar 400 feet in the air for a birds eye view. The carousel reaches a speed of 4.5 mph.

The Great Pumpkin Hunt South Coast Botanic Gardens

October 1 – November 30: Take a walk through the Garden and be on the lookout for ten festive fall stations. Each station will be decorated and have a pumpkin sign with questions about the Garden.

Macy’s Letters To Santa

November 7 – December 24: Kids can create and decorate a letter to Santa, print it out and drop it off at a Santa Mailbox at a Macy’s department store.

Kids Happy Hour at Dream Come True Party Room

Most Wednesdays – Thursdays: Time for the kiddos to unwind from a long day. Stop by for dress-up from the Castle Wardrobe, face painting, snacks and crafts.

Grand Park Lights Up the Holidays

November 26 – December 26: Grand Park will be magically lit for the holidays, with a 45-foot tree as the centerpiece.

Military Recognition Days at Knott’s Berry Farm

November 1-18 and November 28 – December 16: Knott’s Berry Farm continues its tradition of honoring the brave men and women who have served in the U.S. military, both past and present, with free admission during its annual Military Tribute Days.

A Christmas Carol in Temecula

December 1-11 Mister Ebenezer Scrooge is awakened on Christmas Eve by spirits who reveal to him his own miserable existence, and he must decide what his own future will hold: death or redemption.

Alpine Slide and Snow Play

Muzeo Express, Holiday Model Trains at Muzeo

November 18 – January 7: The annual exhibition, Muzeo Express, celebrates the holiday season with model trains, miniature scenes and hands on activities, sure to be a holiday favorite for children and enthusiasts alike.

Fire and Law Tribute Days Recognition Days at Knott’s Berry Farm

November 27 – December 15 and January 8-31: Active, full-time fire and law enforcement personnel, including EMTs, may receive free admission for themselves and one guest (maximum of two complimentary admissions will be issued.)

THe Holiday Gem in Garden Grove

Skating by the Sea in San Diego

November 23 – January 1: Skating by the Sea returns to Hotel del Coronado for the 13th year. The spectacular ice rink is located seaside on Windsor Lawn and features stunning views of the Pacific and Coronado beach.

Enchanted: Forest of Light at Descanso Gardens

The Return of the Ultimate Recycling Machine at Pretend City
