September 27 – November 2: Reccomended for teens (and adults) ages 13 and up. While most people enjoy a good ghostly yarn, the real draw of the tours is that participants learn about Fullerton’s colorful history.

Second Saturdays and Wednesdays: Pumping demonstrations, antique displays and tours of old Fire Station No. 10.
September 17 – November 26: Hundreds of spiders are on view in the pavilion, along with scorpions and tarantulas in terrariums just outside.
September 16 – October 31: Pick the perfect pumpkin, ride the train or the ponies, jump around on haystacks or bounce house, wander through the hay maze or the haunted house, get your face painted, pan for gold or just play games and make crafts
Through November 26: Working apple orchards in Oak Glen, a mountain town halfway between Riverside and Palm Springs, open their doors to the public. Some offer U-pick apples.
September 27: Kids and parents (3-4) learn about the birds of North America with hands-on learning and fun crafts.
September 24-October 31: The farm features all fall activities including pumpkins, digging in the Peltzer Mine, pig races, train rides, pony rides and a petting farm.
Ongoing: Join the Halos for a behind-the-scenes tour of baseball’s fourth-oldest stadium, including areas normally restricted to the public.
Wednesdays: Tea time includes dress-up play from the Castle Wardrobe, mini muffins or cookies, fruit and refreshments, plus etiquette and storytelling.
Wednesdays: Kids and thier parents enjoy nature, story time and crafts at the nature center.
Daily: A monthly calendar of story times, crafts, homework help and family-friendly events at libraries in the Orange County library system.

September 15 – November 4: With the heritage of making horror films for over 80 years, Universal Studios Hollywood brings the most terrifying live Halloween event in Los Angeles for brave souls ages 13+.
Wednesdays and Thursdays: Kids (5-17) interested in roller derby can join Long Beach Jr Roller Derby for practice. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-7:30 p.m. MADhaus Indoor Training.
Wednesday: Discover what lives below your toes at the beach and become a citizen scientist with naturalists at Heal the Bay’s Santa Monica Pier Aquarium.
Ongoing: This behind-the-scenes tour lets fans visit some of the most restricted and non-public areas and view the Stadium from a whole new perspective.
Wednesdays: Explore the fun & relaxing art of coloring with your family. Designs for all ages & interests, supplies provided, but you may bring your own art supplies if you wish.
Wednesday: During the summer, Child Creativity Lab for Creative Reuse Open Studio Maker Sessions are held every Wednesday. Kids have access to makerspace materials, supplies, and workshop space.
Through October: Free family-friendly concerts will be held in parks, outdoor amphitheatres, community centers, libraries and museums throughout LA County featuring a variety of artists.
September 24 and September 26-30: Stop by CMA during Sea Otter Awareness Week and learn more about this amazing marine mammal.
Wednesdays: There will be water play experience for the children utilizing water play sensory tables and water play toys.
Wednesdays: Bored of the same old games? Challenge your mind! Learn new, interesting table top and role-playing games every Wednesday in the Teen Cafe.
Wednesdays: Join the Michelle Obama Library for baby bounces, rhymes, and tummy time! Learn early literacy skills in a social, baby-friendly setting.
Wednesdays: Build something spectacular based on this week’s challenge.Legos provided, you bring iyour imagination.School Aged Children.
September 27 – October 1: For centuries, the greatest sailors in the world masterfully navigated the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania.
