Tuesdays: This special street fair takes place along a closed-off section of Main Street and includes a farmer’s market, bounce house, street performers and more.
September 17 – November 26: Hundreds of spiders are on view in the pavilion, along with scorpions and tarantulas in terrariums just outside.
September 16 – October 31: Pick the perfect pumpkin, ride the train or the ponies, jump around on haystacks or bounce house, wander through the hay maze or the haunted house, get your face painted, pan for gold or just play games and make crafts
Through November 26: Working apple orchards in Oak Glen, a mountain town halfway between Riverside and Palm Springs, open their doors to the public. Some offer U-pick apples.
Tuesdays: Kids of all ages are invited to join Pottery Barns story time. Become a member and receive a Book Club Passport at the first story time visit and a special gift after atending five story times.
Tuesdays: Children and their families are welcome to visit one of the Duplo tables in the library’s lobby.
Tuesday and Thursday: Each educational cart offers learning for students and visitors interested in seeing items up close.
September 24-October 31: The farm features all fall activities including pumpkins, digging in the Peltzer Mine, pig races, train rides, pony rides and a petting farm.
Tuesdays: Kids can eat free at Ikea every Tuesday. Choose between the four meals (value $2.49). What a deal! Plus, free baby food with any adult breakfast, lunch or dinner purchase any day.
Ongoing: Join the Halos for a behind-the-scenes tour of baseball’s fourth-oldest stadium, including areas normally restricted to the public.
April – September: Fans in attendance receive giveaways and attended specail events at the Dodgers game.
Daily: A monthly calendar of story times, crafts, homework help and family-friendly events at libraries in the Orange County library system.

September 15 – November 4: With the heritage of making horror films for over 80 years, Universal Studios Hollywood brings the most terrifying live Halloween event in Los Angeles for brave souls ages 13+.
Wednesdays and Thursdays: Kids (5-17) interested in roller derby can join Long Beach Jr Roller Derby for practice. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-7:30 p.m. MADhaus Indoor Training.
Ongoing: This behind-the-scenes tour lets fans visit some of the most restricted and non-public areas and view the Stadium from a whole new perspective.
Tuesdays and Fridays: Kids (3-5) and their parents join a themed storytime with rhymes and songs (at least three books), and a craft or science experiment.
Through October: Free family-friendly concerts will be held in parks, outdoor amphitheatres, community centers, libraries and museums throughout LA County featuring a variety of artists.
Tuesdays: Join an interactive experience for toddlers with storytelling and singing.
September 24 and September 26-30: Stop by CMA during Sea Otter Awareness Week and learn more about this amazing marine mammal.
Tuesdays: With the help of local community partners, real and pretend mobile touch tanks will be here for children to explore sea life and learn strategies for taking care of ocean creatures.
Tuesdays: Join the Main Library for baby bounces, rhymes, and tummy time! Learn early literacy skills in a social, baby-friendly setting.
Tuesdays: Share book, puzzles, blocks, dolls, and puppets. Chiildren and caregivers can play with other toddlers and build their developmental as well as social skills.
September 21-26: When the kingdom’s most wanted, and most charming, bandit Flynn Rider hides in a mysterious tower, the last thing he expects to find is Rapunzel, a spirited teen with an unlikely superpower: 70 feet of magical golden hair.
