September 17 – November 26: Hundreds of spiders are on view in the pavilion, along with scorpions and tarantulas in terrariums just outside.
September 16 – October 31: Pick the perfect pumpkin, ride the train or the ponies, jump around on haystacks or bounce house, wander through the hay maze or the haunted house, get your face painted, pan for gold or just play games and make crafts
September 1-24: Visit the fair where everyone is bound to have a good time! Featuring exhibits and contests, live animals and shows, kids’ activities, historic trains, a family marketplace, plus plenty of crafts, rides, games and food!
Weekends in September: The festival aims to help educate the community about the programs benefiting the children of Orange County, featuring more than 65 charities.
Through November 26: Working apple orchards in Oak Glen, a mountain town halfway between Riverside and Palm Springs, open their doors to the public. Some offer U-pick apples.
September 21 – October 31: Scary Farm (13+) features 13 haunted attractions, live shows, multiple scare zones, and over a thousand costumed monsters roaming the park.
Thursdays, April 6 – November 7: The Fullerton Market is the place to come and enjoy fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, handcrafted artisan products, live music and entertainment, plus crafts and activities at the Kids’ Korner and food vendors.
September 22-25: Dog owners hailing from as far as Florida, Australia and Brazil will be packing up their pups and bringing them to sunny Huntington Beach to participate in the Unleashed by Petco Surf City Surf Dog event.
Fridays: Every Friday night is Date Night with Frogg’s Bounce House. Drop the kids off and enjoy a night out!
Weekends, September 22 – October 29: Gather friends and family to celebrate Oktoberfest with German food, dancing, kids’ activites and crafts.
September 22: Kids (3-4) and their adult guardian join an hour of creativity and fun with an animal theme! Come ready to get a little messy.
Monday and Friday: Join Los Angeles Museum of Art in The Boone Children’s Gallery, located in the Hammer Building.
Friday – Sunday: Visit a large-scale permanent craft marketplace in classic World War II-era waterside warehouses, plus creation stations, printmaking workshops, daily demonstrations, live music, special events and food trucks.
April – September: Fans in attendance receive giveaways and attended specail events at the Dodgers game.
Fridays: Binge-watch anime during Teen Anime Club every first and third Friday, and see popular and not-so-popular films during Teen Flicks every second and fourth Friday (ages 13+).
September 22-24: Enjoy live music, exciting exhibits, cooking demonstrations, authentic homemade Greek cuisine and pastries, Greek folk dancing by several award winning youth groups and an expanded Kids Fun Zone.
September 22: Valley Christian hosts their annual Harvest Festival. You’re welcome to get to know this long-standing community. Kids of all ages will enjoy game booths, activities, vendor’s row, and great food.
Daily: A monthly calendar of story times, crafts, homework help and family-friendly events at libraries in the Orange County library system.

Every other Friday: They turn off the lights, crank up the music with special-effects lighting, so families can have their disco bouncing fun.
September 22-24: Head down to the Redondo Beach waterfront for fresh Maine lobster dinners, plus live music, exhibits, SUP lessons and a Kiddie Area.
September 22: Big Bird, Elmo and their friend from China, Hu Hu Zhu, take viewers on a journey of discovery to learn about the Big Dipper, the North Star, the Sun and the Moon.
September 15 – November 4: With the heritage of making horror films for over 80 years, Universal Studios Hollywood brings the most terrifying live Halloween event in Los Angeles for brave souls ages 13+.
Wednesdays and Thursdays: Kids (5-17) interested in roller derby can join Long Beach Jr Roller Derby for practice. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-7:30 p.m. MADhaus Indoor Training.
Fridays: Kids (7+) join Fashion Camp every Friday for a fun sewing workshop.
September 22: Join a screening of “Power Rangers.” The movie will be shown on board the fantail of Battleship IOWA, under the stars, overlooking the LA Waterfront.
Fourth Fridays: For teens with their own sewing machines, who are dying to learn new techniques, sew age appropriate projects and make new friends!
Ongoing: This behind-the-scenes tour lets fans visit some of the most restricted and non-public areas and view the Stadium from a whole new perspective.
Tuesdays and Fridays: Kids (3-5) and their parents join a themed storytime with rhymes and songs (at least three books), and a craft or science experiment.
Through October: Free family-friendly concerts will be held in parks, outdoor amphitheatres, community centers, libraries and museums throughout LA County featuring a variety of artists.
Fridays and Saturdays: All ages Glow Night Includes front of the line admission to all activities, unlimited admission to the Game Zone that includes over 20 digital games, GLOW Dunk contests and GLOW Bull Riding Contests!
Friday and Saturday: It’s cosmic night every Friday (9 p.m. midnight) and Saturday (8-11 p.m.). Enjoy the color laser light show and party music while playing dodgeball, dunking basketballs or freestyling on the main court.
Fridays: Work with fishy friends to keep the beaches clean as we learn about ocean stewardship with a focus on developing our prosocial skills!
Fridays: A fun hour for babies, toddlers, and their families filled with stories, songs, and playtime.
Fridays: English and Spanish introduction to computers, using the Internet and MS word.
September 22: FALL into this season as the leaves change colors and the weather gets colder. Pretend City is celebrating Fall with our Fall Festival Day!
