Mondays: Join Long Beach Junior Roller Derby for a night of family skating, open to all ages and abilities!
August 12-12: World Elephant Day is an international effort celebrating Asian and African elephants, and bringing attention to the urgent threat of their extinction. Visit L.A. Zoo’s state-of-the-art Elephants of Asia exhibit and learn about its three elephant residents, go on a tour, enjoy story time, a craft station and much more.
Mondays, July 10 – August 28: A new event this summer! Art and Story Time is a weekly series for kids 5 and under, featuring a different book read aloud and a hands-on art project.
Weekdays, July 10 – August 31: Bring out that creative spark at the Festival of Arts. Kids (5-12) can enjoy art classes taught by professional festival artists in mixed-media, jewelry making, collage and more.
June 12 – August 18: Watch a different kid-favorite movie each week all summer long at Harkins Theatres.
Monday: Babies and toddlers (0-2) and their parents enjoy songs, rhymes, fingerplays, puppets, bubbles, and stories for the littlest of listeners.
Through October: Free family-friendly concerts will be held in parks, outdoor amphitheatres, community centers, libraries and museums throughout LA County featuring a variety of artists.
Monday – Friday: Parents and toddlers join Sky Zone for a fun time just for them. Get access to the toddler court and foam pit!
May 14 – September 10: The exhibition introduces animals many visitors have never heard of or seen. Including rare fossils and specimens from around the world, vivid reconstructions, animated computer interactives, and hands-on activities.
