What do 500 artists, 300 hands-on workshops and al fresco eateries have in common?

They’re who and what’ll you see (and taste!) at Laguna Beach’s three big art festivals, Art-A-Fair, Festival of the Arts and the Sawdust Festival. The city’s Visitors and Conference Bureau this year is offering its $19 “Passport to the Arts,” a three-fer of a pass that gives unlimited admission, as well as special shopping and restaurants discounts, throughout the festivals’ respective runs. Art-A-Fair (June 26 – Aug. 30): Various styles and mediums of art are esconced in a pastoral garden. Check out oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings; photography, digital art and mixed media; sculpture, glass, ceramic and wood work by internationally juried craftsmen and artists. The Sawdust Art Festival (June 26 – Aug. 30): Unique for showcasing only art work created in Laguna Beach, Sawdust exposes visitors to the creativity of some 200 artisans.
