Kidsguide Challenge 2010 this week wraps up the first of three contest cycles.

Reader Susan Debucquois is the winner of Kidsguide Challenge 2010‘s April 1 – June 1 cycle. Her prize: a pair of tickets to Legoland.

Multiple entries are permitted in this summer-long contest, so the more submissions, the greater the chances of winning. Below are some of the Debucquoises’ recent adventures:

• An April excursion to Tanaka Farms’ Strawberry Tours. (Pictured left: Brianna, 9, and friend Angelica, 11.)

• Watching a production of “Better To Bite You With,” a Santa Monica performance by the LA Dancers and Choreographer’s Group.

• A visit to the Long Beach Farmer’s Market. “This is a great event,” Debucquois wrote, “as not only can you purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at prices lower than the grocery store, but they also have fantastic small merchants with great little gifts.”

• Lakewood’s Pan Am Festival. “There was great entertainment, from hula dancers to jazz musicans, delicious food for a good cause too, and really fun vendors. It was nice to go outside and enjoy this city event.”
