October 27: The unique outdoor theater garden Theatricum Botanicum in Topanga Canyon transforms into the haunted BOO-tanicum, with its unique and infamous haunted house.
October 27: Join the Lakewood YMCA for a Halloween Trunk or Treat including activities such as a costume parade, trunk design, spooky maze, face painting, crafts, games, dancing, and more.
October 1-31: Kids can participate in a variety of activities depending on the special event. This month, bugs invade Pretend City…your child is invited to make bug, fall, and Halloween themed creations of all kinds throughout Pretend City!
Through late November: Working apple orchards in Oak Glen, a mountain town halfway between Riverside and Palm Springs, open their doors to the public. Some offer U-pick apples.
September 29 – October 28: Bring family and friends for old fashioned farm fun! Try your luck at SoCal’s largest corn maze. Enjoy the pumpkin patch and maze daily; on weekends, enjoy more activities!
October 26-28: The festival will be a treat for all comic, anime, gaming, scifi, fantasy and horor geeks.
October 27-28: Learn all about death and mourning etiquette during the Victorian era, the movement of Spiritualism, and how other cultures celebrate and remember their loved ones.
Select dates, October 19-28: Join Crafted at The Port of LA for a variety of fun Halloween inspired crafts! Activities include making marbled pumpkins, Dia de Los Muertos painting instruction, and a Halloween potion making party.
