December 1-3, 8-10 and 15-17: Embark on a magical train ride and visit with Santa Claus himself at his North Pole workshop.
November 23 – January 1: Skating by the Sea returns to Hotel del Coronado for the 13th year. The spectacular ice rink is located seaside on Windsor Lawn and features stunning views of the Pacific and Coronado beach.
Fridays: Kids (7+) join Fashion Camp every Friday for a fun sewing workshop.
Selected dates November 25 – December 23: Celebrate Christmas with a one-hour ride aboard a vintage train.
December 14-17: Students from the Laguna Dance Theater perform with professional guest artists in this annual production of “The Nutcracker.”
December 7-17: In this special holiday production The Young Americans will take you on a ride to a magical place.
December 13 – January 7: Embark on an International Christmas Expedition at the all-new CHILL, featuring the United States’ first-ever Ice Adventure Park and a touching tribute to cultural traditions from around the world.
December 8-10 and 15-17: The Orange Coast College Drama Department presents an old fashioned Christmas melodrama and ice cream social.
December 15-23: If you could imagine a little girl named Clara, a magical Nutcracker doll, a mysterious magician Drosselmayer, toss in an evil Rat Queen, fearless soldiers, beautiful snowflakes, a breath-taking Sugar Plum fairy and enough sparkling costumes that would make Liberace weep with envy you are dreaming of the Nutcracker ballet!
November – March: Head to the hills! It’s prime tubing time at the Big Bear Snow Play. Then, take a chairlift ride to the top of the Alpine Slide.
