Skate Jam in Downey

September 29: Grab your friends and enter in the skateboard competition hosted by City of Downey. Kids and teens (6-18) are welcome to participate.

Panning for Gold, Adobe Brick Making and Arrowhead Necklace Craft at the Mission

Saturday and Sunday: Try your luck at finding the gold in the custom-designed Mission trough. They’ll supply the pan and the “gold;” kids roll up their sleeves and pan their way to riches.

Oktoberfest in Anaheim

Weekends, September 21 – October 28: Gather friends and family to celebrate Oktoberfest with German food, dancing, kids’ activites and crafts.

Dodgers Stadium Tour in Los Angeles

Ongoing: This behind-the-scenes tour lets fans visit some of the most restricted and non-public areas and view the Stadium from a whole new perspective.

Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park

September 20 – October 31: Scary Farm (13+) features 14 haunted attractions and over a thousand costumed monsters roaming the park.

Murder Express Lunch and Dinner Trains at Fillmore and Western Railway

Select Saturdays: Embark on a day or evening Murder Mystery train adventure. Complete with a lunch or dinner, hearty laughs and some less-than-serious sleuthing.

Pa’s Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach

September 28 – October 31: A fun place for the enire family, you’ll find a large variety of pumpkins to choose from, plus haystacks, corn stalks and gourds. Enjoy the snack bar, pony ride, petting zoo, games and rides, all in a country fair atmosphere.

Dino Fest at Natural History Museum

September 29-30: Dinosaurs once dominated the Earth, and this weekend they are taking over Los Angeles for the 3rd annual Dino Fest at the Natural History Museum!

Murder Mystery Dinner Train – Bugle Boy Murders of Company C

This interactive murder mystery is filled with audience participation – so get out your old uniforms and period costumes to come join the fun – we wouldn’t want this murder to take off without you!

Cryptozoology Night at the Santa Ana Zoo

September 29: As the sun goes down and the nocturnal animals stir, other animals begin to rise. Learn about Cryptozoology and its legendary cryptids, then experience a nighttime walk-through of the zoo and perhaps catch a glimpse of some of its nocturnal residents who prefer to come out after dark.
